Wir haben unsere Zeit in dem Haus sehr genossen. Wir konnten viele Tiere beobachten und haben nachts dem Dschungel gelauscht. Von unserer Terasse aus haben wir unter anderem Spinnenaffen, Kolibris, Tukane und Agutis gesehen. Nancy ist eine sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereit Gastgeberin.

Nos encantó el lugar estaba muy lindo y limpio y en general bien descrito. Está muy cerca de la playa y cuenta con un buen espacio para parquear. La cocina está completa, solo que no hay sal ni aceite. Tiene una linda terraza, donde compartir y comer. En la descripción no lo dice, pero solo tiene un AC, y está en la sala. Las almohadas de las camas son MUY incomodas, fue lo único que nos disgustó.

This was an extraordinary experience; one of our favorite spaces and trips that we have ever had. The nature is unbeatable. Monkeys and macaws are your close neighbors. The jungle is home, and the energy it provides is nurturing and deeply spiritual. The layout of the house is spacious and open. The beach is private and a beautiful 5 minute walk. Absolutely amazing spot! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived ! The grounds were just gorgeous and full of wildlife! We loved the outdoor kitchen which is so roomy and lets you hear all the monkeys and birds! The kayaking near the place was fantastic! We had fun fishing and seeing all the mangroves! We can’t say enough good things about the hosts who cooked many delicious meals for us and were just generally amazing! Room was perfect and comfortable with great decks for looking out over the grounds! Just a wonderful experience in some of the best natural surroundings!

Wir haben die Tage bei Keyla sehr genossen. die Unterkunft ist absolut perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Puerto Jiménez. Etwas abgelegen der Hauptstraße und fußläufig zu allen wichtigen Orten und Restaurants. Die Waschmaschine in der Unterkunft ist ein Segen, vor allem nach einem Ausflug in den Corcovado NP. Vielen Dank!

Our original AirBnb didn’t work out- we literally couldn’t get to it because there was a river flowing across the road! We booked R House at the last minute and were so grateful that we were able to check in immediately. The house was so great! Clean, spacious, comfortable, private, nice amenities- we loved our stay! The hosts were super friendly and responsive. If I’m ever in this area again I would definitely stay here again. There is another house on the property available for rent. Very convenient if you are traveling with a huge family or friends.

Paz is a special place and Roberto is a wonderful host. The floor to ceiling screens in the living room/dining room situate you right in the secondary forest. Heaven for nature loving bird nerds. If you’ve spent time on the Osa before, you know Howler monkeys wake you at 4:30am. We watched howler, spider, and squirrel monkeys from bed. The beach is a minute walk. A covered porch with hammocks and chairs to enjoy the beautiful Gulfo Dulce. And a small pool to cool off in (key) and watch Macaws, capuchin monkeys, hermit crabs & the waves. We bought groceries in Puerto Jimenez and cooked most of meals for the week. Kitchen has big fridge, sharp knives, and worked well for us. Marluna Lodge (5 min drive) for Taco Tuesday. Visited local surf breaks and surfed the right point break out front of Paz. Tide dependent. Roberto can help you figure it out. Roberto was very attentive, warm, and helpful. He’s created a beautiful space in a beautiful part of the world.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was the perfect place to unwind and truly be together as a family. The animal life was incredible. We woke up to monkeys in the morning and playing throughout the day just outside the house. Both john and Oscar were super helpful and friendly. And if you have a chance to have Jackson’s cook- she was incredible. If you’re in for a rustic, full of nature, full family time then this is your place! Also don’t miss out on scheduling a horseback ride with Carlos at finca tropical! It surpassed our expectations and my husband used to guide horseback rides in Colorado. Enjoy the time together and this charming place in Cabo matopalo!

Casa Lapas fue un lugar increíble. La casa muy aseada, cerca del mar, muy completa, fácil acceso y muy segura por si andas con 🐶. Nos vamos muy felices con la casa y la amabilidad de Alexander, incluso nos dejaron un detalle de bienvenida, nos vamos muy agradecidos y felices, esperamos volver.

La casa es muy linda, bien cuidada y todo está muy ordenado. Lea fue muy amable y me ayudó con todas mis preguntas. Éramos un grupo de 7 y la casa es demasiado cómoda y segura.

Raquel's place was fantastic!! Big beautiful house, AC worked great in the room and having the pool was a huge plus! It was so awesome to jump in there after a long hot day exploring Corcovado. The surroundings are beautiful and you can catch a great sunset from the upper deck as well as check out all kinds of cool birds in the morning. Raquel and her brother are super nice and responsive. She even booked our tour to the national park for us. Highly recommend!

Great place nearby to local surf breaks, 10 min walk with a board to pan dulce. House is nice and is entirely bug netted and open to the breeze which is very nice. Peter also gave us coconut from the property which was awesome. Recommended

This is an amazing Air BnB. Luxurious and extremely spacious accommodation set in a veritable Garden of Eden. This is a very private location with spectacular views. Both the wildlife and bird life are spectacular. Access to the property is quite demanding. You definitely need a 4x4 and you definitely want to make use of the in-house catering. Ivan is a very good and a very flexible chef. Most of our party are vegetarian and teetotal. Ivan, supported by Marjorie, provided an excellent range of meals throughout the week and an inventive selection of fruit juices to drink.

We had an awesome adventure at Casa Roja, it was a beautiful house in an amazing location. We spotted monkeys from the living room most days, we were visited by the Macaws several times during our stay, and the tours of Corcovado & Canos were spectacular. Graciela and staff were extremely friendly, accommodating, and the prepared meals were delicious. It was obvious that our happiness and comfort was their priority. I would highly recommend Casa Roja for a Costa Rican retreat, just be prepared for the heat. Without a steady breeze or airflow via fans, the heat can be brutal for northerners like us.

We Stayed at Casa Escondida with the family. It was a lovely experience. Right next to the beautiful beach of backwash. The house was beautiful and clean, with 2 big bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. The kitchen was a little small, but it balanced well with having the upper deck to enjoy having food in the outdoors. We saw monkeys, armadillos, toucans and more right next to the house! The manager there, Doña Irma and her husband were super sweet and took really good care of us. There is another house right next to Casa Escondida, Casa Luz, they were doing a yoga retreat there and it was calm and peaceful and we didn't feel at all bothered by being close. There was good natural separation with the landscaping. And yeah... the beach 25 steps away is priceless.

We loved our stay here. The bird life alone was stunning - scarlet macaws, parakeets, toucans and so many more. The pool was everything we needed and the space of the home was well laid out. The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet and in a friendly neighborhood. There is a little grocery store just a short walk away where we picked up ice cream and anything we forgot from Puerto Jimenez. It is a little drive out of town but such a beautiful retreat, we rarely left.

Great place. You need to have a car to move around, but quick and easy access everywhere. Huge place... Good internet.

Wir waren leider nur kurz da, aber die Unterkunft ist sehr cool! Aussicht top und sehr Nahe am Strand, Restaurants usw.! Vincent war super nett, hilfsbereit und sehr flexibel! Wir würden jederzeit sehr gerne wieder kommen!

Rebeca y Thom fueron excelentes, nos recibieron incluso bajo la lluvia, nos hicieron tour por la casa nos dieron recomendaciones y nos invitaron a conocer la propiedad, e incluso nos invitaron a algún bocadillo hecho en casa. La finca esta a 600 mts de una playita escondida, muy solita y bañada en naturaleza, caminar hasta la playa en si es una experiencia...no diría q es una playa tranquila, pero sentarse a leer y escuchar el mar es algo mágico Tuvimos una invasión de abejones de mayo, la casa esta bastanta sellada, sin embargo algunos logran pasar, así que si tenés apifobia, es bueno tomar eso en cuenta... La construcción es hermosa, la casa esta hecha para disfrutar de la vista tanto dentro como fuera de ella, los jardines son preciosos e incluso tienen un vivero en la propiedad, hay almendros muy cerca a las casas por lo que es probable que podas disfrutar de visitas diarias de lapas. Recomiendo mil este lugar, gracias muchachos ppor cuidar tanto este pedacito de paraíso!

Un lugar increíble y una atención muy amable, uno encuentra todo lo que necesita. Obviamente como local conoce los mejores lugares y guías en caso de necesitar uno. 100% recomendable
