If you like nature and a more peaceful atmosphere, this is the best stay in Kuta Lombok. The bungalow was just as pictured, and John was a fantastic host as written in so many reviews! He was very responsive and kind, and able to answer any questions we may have. John helped us arrange transportation to get to the property. The scooters are available for rent on site, with a gas station, ATM, grocery store within 5 minutes driving. There’s a beach in walking distance and many beach/surf options if driving on a scooter, and other tours which can be arranged.

Absolutely loved every moment at Kuta Mountain bungalows! The place is simply magical—tucked near the mountains, just off the road, with such peaceful and uplifting vibes. The care and respect poured into maintaining this space are evident in every little detail. Plus, its close proximity to Mandalika means you might even catch an exciting race during your stay. But what truly made our stay special were John and his wife. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality shine through in everything they do, making you feel so welcome and at home. Excellent welcome, family atmosphere... we take care of you!! The camp was clean and the garden very well maintained ... you will be seduced by the smiling and available staff, the tasty kitchen and the water a few meters from the camps ... I was seduced and I will come back to it Thanks to the whole beach camp team

Stayed there for almost 2 weeks and absolutely enjoyed it! Best hosts ever and we felt so welcomed by them. The room was even bigger than it looked on the pictures. Can definitely recommend and would come back any time ☺️

I was in Kuta Lombok for a month and, like the previous time, I stayed at Wafa and Aarn's Hidaway Bungalows! I couldn't ask for more! Lovely place with a nice fresh and clean pool to relax after surfing sessions! The bungalow and the rooms are fresh and clean. I also had a fridge which was very useful! The location is strategic, in the center of Kuta but surrounded by nature and isolated from the noise. The staff were all lovely with me, who traveling alone, often needed something. I can't wait to come back! Thanks to everyone!Sampai jumpa lagi!

It was a nice place for us. Paul and Kaz were very helpful with communication and we enjoyed the amenities included with the place, such as the kitchen. The location was great as well, with direct access to the main road with just a few minute walk. Some aspects like the bathroom shelf / bathroom could certainly be updated, but overall, it was a smooth stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Bungalow 3 to the fullest. The bungalow is cleaned daily and is extremely clean and well maintained. Especially beautiful: from the bed you can look directly into the jungle and even watch monkeys – a unique nature experience. The center of Kuta as well as the surrounding beaches can be reached in a short time by rented scooter of Kuta Mountain Bungalows – ideal for exploring the surrounding area flexibly. The hosts are incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. We felt very welcome and comfortable from the first moment. We highly recommend this wonderful place – thanks for everything, and see you next time!

Thanks so much to Arn & everyone else who made us feel so welcome. This place is in a great location just hidden off the main road and you are well looked after. It is good value for money also. My only comment would be that a few things need a bit of TLC.
