Very relaxing place in the mountains. While it may not look like much at first, its energy is calming. There is a stream out back and the sauna and hot tub are wonderful. It is just what I needed to destress. We hiked table rock as well and it was very fun. Bethany’s biofeedback meditation was enlightening and helpful. She left us food just in case and the house was well stocked. Like being at home.

Rare 1930’s Riverfront Cottage

Amazing time! Having stayed in many Air BnB’s- this one takes first place. There’s not enough space to write all we loved about this precious mountain home. Being near the stream and hearing it from the porch with a good book or a board game was priceless. Our teenaged sons loved fishing in the creek and caught quite a few trout. The home was beautifully decorated, and was well stocked for any need, with kind extras from the host! The beds and linens were comfy, there were puzzles and games for all, and the kitchen was super nice to cook in, as the owner has thought of everything. We enjoyed hunting waterfalls nearby, and eating at small interesting cafes. Thank you for sharing your home. We will most certainly return to this amazing cabin for some more memory making. Highly recommend! 👌🏻

I had a great time at the tree house. It is a perfect and peaceful stay if you’re looking to unplug. The instructions to get there are clear and I was able to find it easy, even at night. I recommend preloading or saving the directions because you will lose service before you get to boxturtle rd.

My wife and I were looking for a weekend staycation in the uplands of SC, and Morgan's getaway was perfectly positioned between Table Rock, Jones Gap, and Caesar's Head State Parks. We definitely spent the majority of our time hiking these beautiful trails, and when it would rain we enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking our coffee. The cabin was spotless and felt very at home. We hope to be back soon! (if you are a runner, the neighborhood roads are quiet and offers about 3 miles of good up and down road.) We also saw a blue ghost firefly on a night walk around the cabin!

Ideal for families wanting to rest relax and make endless memories. Accommodated our kids including the teens. Caitlin was extremely welcoming and the cabin was better than described. Lots of games, pool table, ping pong and stuff to keep busy on rainy days. Neat little river getaway when weather permitted. The river was indeed cold but most definitely core memories made! Small fish for our outdoorsy dudes. Definitely an amazing weekend.
