Come and enjoy your stay in our luxurious handmade shepherd's hut situated in your own private field where your nearest neighbours are our two sheep and the deer that graze in the field at sunrise and sunset. Play tennis on the asphalt court (tennis rackets and balls available). Enjoy a BBQ and an evening around the firepit where the clean air ensures a perfect view of the stars on a clear night. The Old Reading Room West Stafford

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.

It’s also a great base for walkers wanting to explore the Jurassic Coast and all the incredible views South Dorset has to offer.

Sit, relax and enjoy all the farm animals and amazing wildlife around! The pods have been named after two of my favourite animals to see 'The Owl' and 'The Hare' Great for exploring and walking! There are footpaths straight off the farm. The village and surrounding pubs are walking distance away. Swanage has a lovely sandy beach is 20 minute drive away.
