Fantastic view and a really nice property. We didn’t get to see much of the surroundings due to unfortunate weather, but we enjoyed the house a lot. The area is beautiful, even on a rainy day, and the house is very close to the poas volcano, yet far enough away that you are not surrounded by tourists.

It was exactly what we needed. Peaceful and secure place where you can hear the river and the birds all day. The barbecue area was a great surprise!

Diego's place is SO wonderful. the jacuzzi in the backyard was nice. The neighborhood is secure with a security guard at the gate at all times. Access to the community pool was a big winner with the kids (those water slides!) Diego was incredibly responsive and always super positive. The whole family was wishing we had more time at this house. We also enjoyed being able to drive to Jaco (20 min) when we wanted it, but sleeping in Tarcoles where things were much quieter. Amazing!

The house is a described. A wonderful quiet place in the Countryside. Beautiful house and property. Very safe area with wonderful friendly neighbors! Quiet and family place, the super chiva pool and also the super equipped house for cooking and doing what you want as a family, supermarkets nearby and everything! Very clean and also spacious and private..

Hugo was an extremely helpful and responsive host, and also quite friendly. He recommended a number of local restaurants and activities that I enjoyed and I would be very happy to stay in his place again

I loved your house! Celebrated my son's birthday, an afternoon at the pool and they had a blast playing soccer! The views are spectacular! In addition to being very well equipped! The rooms have air conditioning, which is very important in such a hot climate! The host Eduardo is a wonderful, very proactive person; In short, 10/10! We'll be back!

We needed a last minute place and the host responded immediately. The pool and patio were amazing. We spent all of our time outside on the patio since there was no AC and it was hot. The house is super small but fit our needs for the night. The house needs some updates but had everything we needed (including sliverware). The only issues we had was, There was no hot water Im guessing . The host was very heldul and nice.

The location was perfect for visiting Coffee yours, La Paz and other points of interest. The restaurant food and service was amazing. The weather did not cooperate as it was rainy and cold so we had to use the 2 space heaters and the wood fireplace to keep warm. All supplies were there to get the fire going. I would stay here again. I can understand why in the rainy months a 4x4 is recommended as the drive up is wet and muddy and between the cow pastures. It’s a cool part of the place that made it different from anywhere else.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Rana! The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect-just a five-minute walk to the beach and the store, in a safe and peaceful neighborhood. We truly felt at home and couldn't have been happier with our experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Costa Rica!

We LOVED our time here. Perfect way to spend my birthday. The house was beautiful and spacious, better than the photos. We were greeted warmly and they helped with everything we needed. It was a peaceful place with sweet views and privacy.

We had a wonderful time during our one-month stay, which began on New Year's Eve. It was perfect for the two of us. The studio/cottage is an exceptional gem! The breathtaking view and the lush nature made us feel right at home, with many birds and wildlife passing by the cottage's large window. To fully enjoy the surroundings, however, we found that having a car was necessary, as taxi services like Uber could take some time to reach the hilltop location.
