Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Putnam County

We had a group of family and friends for my daughter's West Point graduation. It was about a 30 minute drive to West Point, but well worth it. Unique home in a rural setting but near enough to Cold Spring and amenities. Expensive, but worth it. We felt right at home!

Highly recommend this house! Rented for a wedding in Beacon and it was the PERFECT location to tour around Beacon while walking. Super cool design and very very clean. Felt like I was staying at a high end hotel with towels, soaps, shampoos etc. all provided. I loved staying here and would again if I'll ever be in Beacon again!

The hosts were very responsive. It is a great house, exactly what we wanted and as advertised. There isn't much to do in the immediate area, but there are a few shops and restaurants in the town center. The house is situated in a back lot and shares an access driveway with the house closer to the street, but once you are at the house it is very private. The only issue we ran into is the three season porch hadn't been cleaned and was covered in pollen, so it wasn't very usable. This place is perfect for a large group that mostly wants to stay on site!

My parents and I really enjoyed our stay at Mark’s. His house was beautifully situated right on Lake Mahopac with plenty to do in town and in the surrounding area. Everything was as described and met all of our needs. Mark was extremely accommodating with our length of stay (~ 6 weeks) and allowing us to bring our animals (2 dachshunds, 1 cat). Check-in was easy and upon arrival we were greeted with a gift basket and a binder with all sorts of info (emergency, food, fun activities). The backyard was beautiful, completely fenced in, and super convenient for the pups. When we had questions, all we had to do was send off a quick text and Mark responded in a timely manner. I can’t recommend Mark’s place enough!

Our stay was great. Loved all the bedrooms and amenities. Location was perfect for us, reasonably close to the US Military Academy. The young adults in or group jumped in lake and enjoyed the hot tub. Ample parking right out front of the house. One thing to consider is the stairs. The elders in our group found them challenging. But with a little care and assistance it all worked out great.

The location is excellent and the place is very nice. However, it has fewer actual beds than are listed.

Jackie was very responsive and helpful in every way. The house was perfectly located for our needs, beautiful, and spacious.

We were in town to run the spartan trail marathon! It was an incredible and beautiful home to stay in and relax in after a gnarly trail run ! Hope to be back next year! My 4 year old had so much fun! There are toys and many fun nooks to nap in. The jacuzzi was incredible and we bbq’d all weekend. Easy to find and close to all the beautiful scenic trails. Host was very kind and responsive.

Our second time at Hopewell Junction did not disappoint. We love this home because Anuja really understands what a guest needs and would like - so many extra touches, like beautiful linens, nice soaps and shampoos, wood for fire, lots of cookware and serving pieces, and beautiful art. Beds are comfy and towels are top notch. It snowed while we were there, beautiful, and the drive was promptly plowed. Our friends speak Danish, and they kept using the word hygge for the house. (Cosy and welcoming) We agree and will definitely be back. Thank you Anuja for another lovely stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The home was perfect for our group! There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The house has a stunning view of the lake and the kids loved the swing set in the yard. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The house was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The location was peaceful and picturesque — waking up to the lake view each morning was a treat. We would absolutely recommend this place to families or groups looking for a relaxing getaway in nature. Would love to come back again!

Great place for large groups, very comfortably fit all of us, and Dee was very communicative and helpful. I would definitely recommend or stay again!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The outdoor space was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed lounging by the pool and relaxing in the hot tub. The kids had a blast with the swing set and in the playroom. Just a heads-up: cell signal is limited in the area, but the WiFi worked well and kept us connected. Overall, we had a fantastic stay!

Had the most beautiful stay at this home. The home is beautiful and tastefully decorated, very well equipped and clean. The surroundings of the house are beautifully kept. Brian and Zack were very friendly and responsive. 10/10 stay!

Pictures do not do this place justice, comfortable beds and couch’s, clean kitchen and bathrooms, way more space than it appeared in the pictures. Hot tub was amazing on a few cold nights. We spent most of our time in the living room by the fire and making food in the kitchen. Marie’s home was more than we could have wished for, and the location was perfect, in nature but just a few mins away from town. By far the most comforting and relaxing stay we’ve had yet.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jordyn and Gabby’s place! As a full-time patient care provider and with my boyfriend’s demanding job, we were in desperate need of a peaceful and cozy retreat, and this place fit perfectly. The late-night movie setup was a perfect way unwind, the fire pit, soaking in jacuzzi under the moon- all led to this healing trip to be successful! One of the highlights of our trip was kayaking in the nearby waters—it was such a serene experience! We couldn’t have asked for a more personal and relaxing getaway. Our service dog, Loha, also felt right at home and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you, Jordyn and Gabby, for creating such a beautiful space that truly allows guests to recharge and reconnect!

Our stay was perfect— we were in the area for our son’s college graduation. This place is a hidden gem. It is everything and more. The scenery is unbeatable. Careful attention has been paid to every detail. Steven is the perfect host—he is courteous and was always available. Highly recommend!

As much as we wanted to go back to our homes and redecorate, the comfort and beauty of your home wanted to keep us all there! The decor was stunning! Thank you for thinking of everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked several meals for our group of 9 and didnt lack anything. Your home exceeded all the descriptions and was beyond all our expectations. Everyone loved having their own bathroom. Thanks for hosting us!

This place the atmosphere the surroundings it was all so lovely and needed, the price paid off. I loved the views the water and the shower outside. The bed was so comfortable very clean the place overall was very comfy I felt so comfortable. I recommend this place for a stay if you love to be away from people and need calmness. Everything was on spot from the house, the area outside to everything included. Thankyou so much for this, 10/10

This home was a perfect venue for our family's mini reunion. We are superhosts from Australia and my Sister and her family came from California and Brooklyn. The home is extremely comfortable and well laid out. The leafy location was relaxing and close to Beacon where we visited DIA a world class Art Museum . We had great fun using the bbq and fire pit( you need to bring your own charcoal and fire wood). Our 7 and 10yr olds appreciated feeding the fish and playing the video games. Any concerns we had were responded to immediately by the owner. Highly recommend this place.

The cabin was beautiful and well equipped! Plenty of towel and toiletries and a lovely kitchen (there was even coffee and spices on hand.)The star is the downstairs bar room - features a huge bar, complete with a wash sink, fridge and ice machine - just around the corner is a movie room with six actual movie seats, a great place for a film or to play some Nintendo!
