After renovating the castle of Candeze dating from 1480, located in one of the most beautiful villages in France, we rehabilitated the lower part of the castle, to make it an apartment of 100 m2 with private access on one of the most beautiful streets of this medieval village. Calm,rest,freshness awaits you at the interior or ancient paving, stone vault,old doors, antique furniture create the decor. Spacious apartment with a large family room. You will have access to a large adjoining park.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the Agout Valley and the distant Pyrenees mountain range from inside the chalet as well as outside. Enjoy 4 different terraces depending on the season or admire the view from the warmth. Stroll through the charming village of Puybegon a few meters away or take on the challenge of one of the most beautiful hikes in the Tarn, the Dame Fines Trail.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

The apartment has air conditioning as well as a key box. This is a very recently refurbished apartment that can accommodate 2 guests + 1 baby (a 90 cm x 200 cm folding bed is available upon request for those who want to sleep separately). It is located on a very quiet street in the center of the village, and it also has free parking. You'll love my place because of the location. It is perfect for all types of travelers but it is not accessible to people with disabilities
