Bungalow holiday rentals in Pyrgos Kallistis

We had a brilliant stay at the Tasos Villas bungalow. The place & pool area were stunning, exactly like the photos & although close to both beach and Kalamaki centre, it was peaceful and private. We could only book 5 days here of our week in Zakynthos due to an existing booking, so were moving on for the last two nights, but we didn’t want to leave & could have stayed much longer. The welcome pack really was very welcome as we hadn’t had chance to shop & were not hiring a car until the last few days. The hosts had thought of everything, the kitchen is well equipped but big supermarkets are close to the airport (Lidl) & Zakynthos town (mymarket) so if you want to take advantage of the awesome gas BBQ & outdoor dining area you definitely need to drive to one of these to get proper evening meal supplies, as we found the local shops in Kalamaki are not stocked for this, so we ate out every night. The bungalow was lovely and great for our family of 4. It was clean and comfortable. The pool area was relaxing and the pool was big and clean. It was in very easy reach of the port and beach. The restaurants and bars were also a very short walk away. Costas and Marie were great hosts.

Great accommodation. Location is perfect with beautiful view but you have to be with car or motorbike. The apartment has everything you need, big living room with kitchen, bedroom and very comfortable bathroom. Georgios is super friendly and respond every time. Highly recommend this accommodation 😊

Nikos and his mother are wonderful hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The apartment has direct access to a pebble beach and you have sea views from the great terrace. The decor is a bit outdated, but the amenities are good. There are many stray cats on site who are very outgoing, great for cat lovers. Overall, we had a great stay

This place is a hidden gem. Just a few meters away from the sea in a beautiful and quiet spot where you can relax and enjoy all the perks of the city of Kalamata. The house is perfect for a 4 member family and its proximity to the beach makes it ideal for families with small children. It is a beautiful clean and cozy cottage with hosts who really care and want you to enjoy your staying there. The little details make this place exceptional. Thank you so much!

This has to be the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. It is absolutely beautiful and the Elias‘s hospitality is beyond words. There are some restaurants and beaches walking distance away, but you have a gorgeous pool at your disposal. There were snacks and other sweet touches. I highly recommend!!

2 parents, 2children 9-11, stay 3 night. Kind hosts, clean pool as much as can be assessed given that we went to April, as well as the accommodation with a daily housekeeping staff visit, tennis/basketball courts, playground for younger children, the beach accessible on foot. You need a car for shopping in the nearest markets. Many attractions within reach; a single flaw was with a curtain rod and the first day the water supply was interrupted for about 10 minutes. Probably some random amenity disturbance, unless related to the scarcity of the Peloponnese . Generally excellent value for money.

We greatly enjoyed our time in the cottage and from Naxos! Apostolis and Mary were very friendly and welcoming and were always available for questions for us. We were allowed to use the pool of the hotel next to the apartment and there were also very friendly people! Definitely recommend this!

Dream place, ideal for a couple. Breathtaking view and easily reachable on foot if you want to stay in Koundouros. Absolutely recommended!

It's hard to describe how lovely Perseus House is. It's a simple, one room space and the interior is rustic but it's really well set out and comfortable and suited us very well for our six day stay. The outstanding element is the location, it's just stunning. There are three houses, the taverna and a tiny church. Perseus house is beautifully positioned right at the waters edge of the small harbour, with crystal clear, shallow water that you can plunge right into - we swam a lot! Paths and trails skirt the peninsula and the proximity to nature is amazing. Fish at the Taverna is caught in the bay, and utterly delicious. You will need a car as it's out of the way, but there is a small town about ten minutes away for essentials and more great restaurants. Thanks Dimitrious for sharing this beautiful place, we loved it.

We had a wonderful week at Marisa's place - it was spotlessly clean and just like the photos but, for us, it was the pool that was the best thing! It was perfect to hang out, enjoy the sunshine and spend time as a family. Marisa was super helpful throughout and was kind enough to let us stay on longer as we had an evening flight. Can't recommend it enough - a perfect base to explore the island!

Great location - great for trips from there. The place was very spacious for the four of us. Breakfast was served at the table and had everything we needed. The pool and terrace invite you to linger with a beautiful view of the still snow-covered mountains. We had a wonderful short stay, but enjoyed it very much.

Elisa's place is absolutely devine! We had the most enjoyable peaceful relacing stay here. We cannot eait to come back! Fresh fruit and juice everyday, beautiful surroundings, the hosts are so friendly and helpful and everything was just perfect. We cant wait to come back !!

Villa Rodon is a superb base for visiting the historic sites of the Eastern Peloponnese. The house is clearly a well-loved family property. This is no boxy modern rental villa - instead it is a family home, with all of the homey touches and little quirks of a house which has been lived in and loved for decades. In that spirit, we enjoyed all of the home's amenities. Our special favorite was sitting on the roof deck on the second story in the evenings as the sunset, looking out over the ocean and the islands, and perhaps hearing the bells of the goat herd that would pass by the house morning and evening. The home can of accommodate a great number of people with its four bedrooms and three baths. We were two couples, and were very comfortable. Nancy was an excellent host, thoughtfully checking on our comfort and always available for questions.

A great experience. We highly recommend this Host. We loved: 1) Position. About 3' from the sea and less than 30' from the airport. Lots of restaurants and a Mini-Market just 5' walk (with a much bigger grocery store half-way from the airport). No rental car needed unless you are planning a visit to another town. 2) View. STUNNING, especially from the big terrace. 3) Looks of the apartment. Really cosy, conveys a sense of home away from home. Outstanding terrace. Absolutely perfect. 4) Furnishing. Well furnished, including a big BBQ in the terrace. 5) Air conditioning. Works like a charm. 6) Responsiveness of the Host: TOP. 7) Parking. Very easy to find a parking spot, even in high season. Areas of improvement. 8) Slow internet, the biggest issue. Too slow and at times completely lacking. 9) Check-in. We had to wait half-an-hour in the heat on arrival. 10) Sockets. Especially in the bedrooms, more sockets are needed by the bed side tables for lights, chargers and medical equipment.
