Holiday rentals with lake access in Qasr El Nil

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

very nice and spaceous flat

We absolutely adored Sherif's place, it felt so rustic and warm. The lighting was absolutely amazing and bright, it made the place feel warm and inviting. We really felt at home. The ambiance was lovely and we felt spoiled. The beds were so comfy with fresh clean linen. The shower had great water flow. The location itself was quiet and not overwhelming which is great in comparison in Egypt. We felt safe and were warmly invited by Sherifs friend. check in and check out were smooth. We loved the recommendations from Sherif also, was a lovely touch. Many lovely cafes within couple of min walking.

This place felt right at home. Very authentic and very spacious and such a unique experience. Each room delivered a unique experience and artistic decorative colors and vibes. We truly felt like traveling through Egypt’s most authentic home and time. The location is superb and walkable to most cites in Zamalek. Plus, there were plenty of restaurants, cafes, and nice stores within the area. Safe building and the security guards were very vigilant and friendly. And the views from the wide windows of Cairo and Zamalek were incredible. The hosts were super responsive and answered any questions we had very promptly. Highly recommend this property! I stayed in this place for a month and I enjoyed it. It is at the heart of Zamalek and is convenient. Many restaurants nearby and close to metro. The hosts are nice people. Mustafa helps fix things very fast. Would like to stay if visiting again!

The location was perfect as it was directly on the nile with a stunning view but it could get bit noisy as its under a busy bridge.The rooms was clean and spacious enough for our 4 day stay. Khalid was very helpful with everything.
