Family-friendly holiday rentals in Qualicum Beach

The CQ was exactly what we wanted. Private cabin on a quaint farm. We had everything we needed and Henny knows exactly what she is doing! Great location 15 mins max to anything on the island. Absolutely stunning location - saw loads of wildlife from the terrace, and an amazing view over the water. Property was also very well supplied with a super modern kitchen and ample bed and bath space. Will be back!

It was a pleasant experience staying at Laurels. Check in was straight forward. Very quiet spot!!

This is a true Guest House experience. Hans and Denise were just incredible hosts. Really thoughtful and personal. The location is top notch, and the cabin is perfect. 10/10. Can’t fault it.

Wow, words cannot even describe the beauty of this place. We had such an amazing time and are thinking of coming back annually. Katy and Dave are lovely hosts who are nearby and very responsive. They kept the hot tub hot!! They sure have a slice of heaven on Earth 💗 thank you both so much

Quiet and peaceful location, but still within a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. Great views of the water and surrounding mountains. Hot tub overlooking the water was a plus. Would stay again.

My only comment is that is was very hard to find the place especially in the dark. Google maps took me to a neighbouring house and it was very confusing. That being said I didn’t fully ready the hosts instructions so she may have mentioned that! Wonderful place though, we would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at Tracey’s place, and once again, it was wonderful! Everything was just as clean, comfortable, and welcoming as we remembered. The check-in process was smooth and the space was well-equipped. The location is close to the beach and the hot tub was a great way to end the day. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend.

Had a great stay. This place was perfect for the three of us friends. We each had our own bedroom and all agreed the beds were very comfortable. There were lots of towels. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of coffee pods for the keurig. Really nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Liked that there was green space behind the house. If we were to come back to Nanaimo, we all agreed that we would definitely stay here again.

It was such a lovely stay at Keitha’s cabin. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood close enough by the ocean. The cabin was charming with all the amenities you need for a get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin is on her gorgeous property with access to a fire pit and yard space. We had a lovely stay here and would love return! Keitha was very responsive and kind and has two beautiful dogs who sometimes greeted us with wagging tails by the fence. It was wonderful! Thank you Keitha!

We loved the cosy little cabin! It was perfect! Thank you for having some teabags in your kitchen too - I had the perfect cup of tea before bed and I was so grateful for that little extra!! Your cabin is a little gem. Thank you, Karen!

Kevan's home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy and comfortable. There is lots of seating, indoors and out making it a great place for our family to hang out together. The kitchen is fully equipped, and all appliances function well. The beds are comfortable and everyone slept well. The standout is the spectacular garden. A true oasis. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again. Lisa

What a great space! Joanne’s place is very large, with ample room for five or six adults. The kitchen was awesome, complete with an air fryer and instant pot plus many other things you don’t typically find in an Airbnb kitchen! The furniture is also very comfortable, especially the couches. It felt like we walked into our own house, except it’s in the woods by the Parksville resorts and a five minute walk from a sandy beach! What a steal! We can’t wait to be back.

We stayed at Arrowvale campground in the air bnb for our friends wedding. Second time staying there and everything was great again. Beautiful spot right by the river and conveniently located the same place as the wedding 10 outta 10. We were able to check in early and everything was clean. Great hosts. Thanks

We had a great stay! The neighbourhood was very peaceful. We really enjoyed grilling on the Weber BBQ and appreciated the multiple fans available in the cottage. The pillows were some of the best I've slept on! My toddler said it was her favourite place that we've stayed. Thanks!

My wife and I had a great stay in June’s place in Nanaimo. The guest suite was very quiet and private, and located right down the street from an amazing beach. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. Billie was friendly and approachable, and so wonderful. We enjoy the clean and comfortable place, and swimming pool. The place was very close from the main shopping/restaurants area and it made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for everything Billie!

We’ve stayed at the Inn Of the Sea many time and been lucky to stay at both of Tammy’s condos. We come and go from the area all the time for work and it’s hard to go back to a hotel after discovering the condos.

Great location . Excellent communication with host. Met our family's needs . Grandchildren enjoyed bunk beds. Kitchen well equipped .

Nicole's place is amazing, great communication and everything is as she described. she was super helpful with anything we needed! The yard is quiet and private. there is a shared pool and hot tub not to mention mini golf was so much fun. I will definitely be staying again if given the chance.

This was a fabulous rental, it was perfect in every way. Every step of this booking was just a great experience, the host was so friendly and fun to chat with and thought of everything a traveller might need. All of the instructions were clear and well thought out, everything was as expected if not better, the place was spotlessly clean and everything was provided for. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, I hope we will get a chance to enjoy your hospitality again, it made for such an enjoyable trip! Thank you so much!

Donald was a very good host to work with. We were happy with the condo, it was spacious and had what we needed to enjoy a great time. So nice to have the pack and play for our baby. The upper and lower floors were so nice to give privacy when traveling with multi family. The grounds were beautiful and the heated pool and hot tub were really nice. A short walk to access Rathtrevor Beach, which is awesome We would book again next time we come!

The cottage was great for our family of 5! Equipped with beach towels, toys, and even a mini cooler - this makes beach going easy. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the beds and sofa beds were all comfy! Thanks so much for a great stay!
