Arthur was nice and communicated well during our stay. His apartment is described accurately and it was a comfortable stay. The place was clean and tidy. We felt ok coming and going from the apartment but the 2-3 blocks right around the apartment made us a little nervous and we were careful to avoid certain streets. There is a "lockbox" described for keys but Arthur met us at check in and check out to exchange keys (there was not a lockbox option). Also, the place states that smoking is allowed, so anyone that is sensitive to smoke should take note. We didn't smoke, and there was somehow smoke in the apartment sometimes, perhaps coming in from outside (we did not tell the host - it was mild and we didn't feel the need to bring it up). Overall, Arthur is a great host and really seems to want to people to have a good stay.

We had a great time at Tina’s place. Her hospitality is above and beyond. There were many thoughtful touches everywhere you look. Comfy bed and soft pillows. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and private as well as spacious. Perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. Can’t wait to return. Thank you Tina for sharing your gem by the lake side!

We had a pleasant stay for one night and all slept well in this nice, clean apartment. Our dog was really comfortable, it's like she knew there was a dog-positive vibe in the place! Bobbi and family were friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

The place is spotless, great appliances. We could prepare a lovely dinner in the small kitchen for the two of us. Just bear in mind the apartment is in a basement with a flight of stairs, in case you have heavy luggage with you.

Madonna’s Airbnb was a wonderful experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. It’s spotless, comfortable, and spacious. We felt at home immediately. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming both to us and to our dog. In every respect, Madonna’s was A+.

Roland's place was wonderful! I spent two nights (with my mother, and our toy poodle) but wished we couldve stayed longer. The farmhouse was full of character, clean, comfortable, and we could tell that a lot of effort has been put into maintaining and improving it. My favourite features were the wood panelling on the walls upstairs and the clay fireplace, which kept the house warm and cozy. The beds were comfy, the towels in the bathroom were super soft, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials. The wifi and smart TV worked great. We didn't get to make use of the deck due to the rain and fog, but on a clear day/night it would be wonderful to enjoy a meal, watch the sunrise, or stargaze. The property around the house was beautiful - lots of birds singing, a big grassy yard, and an A-frame cabin off to one side, all surrounded by trees. There's an art gallery/shop just down the road that's definitely worth a visit too! - Jen, Jane, and Rosie

The view is beautiful . We really enjoyed the screened porch and large deck. The home is large, spacious and bright and clean. It is a little challenging getting to the water and you should wear water shoes. We did swim in the water but the bottom was soft and your feet would sink in. Overall we very much enjoyed this cottage. We were able to bring our two golden retrievers and they loved it too 😊

Nous avons adoré notre séjour d'un mois, la maison voici les points forts: Résidence bien située pour découvrir l'Île du Cap Breton et ses alentours. Endroit très calme et éloigné des voisins, juste en face de la marina. Belle résidence, très propre, pleine de belles fenêtres, confortable et bien climatisée Foyer extérieur et pergolas très appréciés. Tous les services et restaurations sont à moins d'un kilomètre La nature est très présente tout autour de la maison (cerf, renards, écureuils, crabes, cormorans, hérons, geai bleu, martin pêcheur, etc..). Les points à tenir en compte: Absence de rideau dans la chambre à coucher principale. Absence de moustiquaire dans toutes les fenêtres alors, ont choisi les moustiques ou l'air climatisée. Table à manger pour seulement 6 personnes assises (annoncé; maximum de 8 voyageurs). Cuisine très sommairement équipée Beaucoup d'ampoules sont brûlées à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur et aucune Un gros merci à nos hôtes pour le séjour!

My friends, family and I rented the whole house for the May long weekend for our annual fishing trip. It could not have been more perfect. With bad weather forecasted for the weekend everyone was extremely thankful to have a warm and comfortable place to return to. We enjoyed the wonderful beds and very nice showers. After being out in the rain, the laundry machines were a huge plus. The large and well equipped kitchens and screened in porches were perfect for all our cooking for our large group. After returning home after the weekend, all we can hope for is to return next year.

We stayed for a friends birthday, and the house was perfect! Clean and private and the hot tub was excellent, we would definitely stay again the next time we are in the area!
