Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

It's a wonderful house. It is very well located. It has everything you need to enjoy it. It's a shame that the deal is simply business. The check-out time was 12:00. We asked to extend it a little, and for this we had to pay a disproportionate amount for 5 more hours, all by message. Airbnb should regulate that. Since we were traveling with a baby, and our flight was very late, we had to do it. This is the first time this has happened to us without anyone logging in the next day (we know this because as soon as we paid, there were no problems). Of course, it is not mandatory, it is a courtesy, and other times we have not needed it, or we have not asked for it. They made a serious mistake telling us that breakfast was included, and when we went, they told us that they had made a mistake. And that everyone makes mistakes. In any case, the house is wonderful. Perfect for a great few days.

I booked this villa for a group of 15 of us and I am so glad I did it was absolutely perfect. Carmen is a really wonderful host she went above and beyond to answer all my requests for local recommendations and was always super speedy in her response. It was really easy to get to the villa from faro airport and Ubers are easy to find. A member of our group had a car so we were able to drive to the nearest supermarket as this isn’t walkable but they have uber eats in the area or you could order a taxi to the supermarket it’s not too far. The villa is even nicer than the pictures. The gardens are lovely and the terrace and pool are really gorgeous. We had the pool heated and it was a perfect temperature. Carmen also had many Lilos etc which were great. Inside the house all the bedrooms are en suite and have aircon. The kitchen has everything you could need and there’s even a second fridge in the dining room. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking to travel as a group to this area.

Great place to stay. Great host giving us lots of useful tips. Very friendly, exactly as described. Good location for accessing beaches, towns and countryside. a Although you do have to drive everywhere. Would go back tomorrow!!

The villa is very functional. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet. The villa is isolated and we enjoyed the quiet. The pool is lovely at the end of the day. The kitchen is very well equipped and nothing was really missing. It's a really charming place to spend a pleasant stay. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We'll be happy to come back.

We had a great vacation in a beautiful house with large pool and garden. Due to the many offers such as the volleyball court, table tennis and billiards, you can't get bored here. Communication was great and everything worked out smoothly. The location of the house is in a very quiet area, on foot there is little to reach but by car you are in a few minutes in the city, on the beach or at the supermarket. Thank you for the great house and the lovely vacation.

Such a beautiful setting for this perfect holiday escape. The house is stunning, the terrace offers view across the hills, and the pool is perfect. We had a fabulous break here. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and offered suggestions for local amenities, and were spot on about the local beaches! Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay at the villa. The house is amazing and the gardens are out of this world! Brilliant location for families as it’s really quiet but within walking distance to the town. The house is so clean - everything was spotless.

Our stay was simply wonderful - we lacked nothing! The communication with Peter was excellent, he was always available, helped us with all questions and gave great tips for the area. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped - everything you need is available. We especially liked the large garden, which offers a lot of privacy, as well as the pool, which is perfect for cooling off. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be happy to come back! Our host was very welcoming and responsive to requests. Just missing a mirror in each bedroom for the women and a shelf in the bathroom to put the kits. Otherwise everything is perfect. Thank you

Awesome place to both recharge and meet good people. Beautiful nature and beach nearby. Cats and dogs are the best company :) Sara was very involved, always friendly and helpful and organizing trips or gatherings. Lovely environment, great for a recharge!

A lovely week in a beautiful house. Wonderful views over the Rio Formosa. We were unfortunate with the weather but it didn’t spoil our stay in this beautiful house. Laura was there to greet us and show us around when we arrived. We would love to return at a sunnier time !

Good spacious accommodation on the ground floor. In the immediate vicinity of a restaurant that can be a little noisy at night. Personally, it didn't bother me, but my boyfriend heard the noise during the night. The location is optimal and close to the center and the port.

We have stayed in Vilamoura/Quarteria for over 10 years, this time we returned with our 10 month old son so we wanted to stay somewhere that suited our needs a bit better than a typical hotel/apartment and this hidden gem did not disappoint. The villa was perfect (maybe a little bigger than expected from photos) & I couldn't recommend it enough. Perfect location to Vilamoura marina with just a short walk, cant believe we haven't come across it sooner. We will defo be back! Loved it.

This property, and our stay overall, exceeded our expectations. Casa Leandro is a spacious, immaculate and spectacular house. It was so well equipped with everything we needed and a lot of thoughtful extras. We loved the roof terrace and the views from it, and found it easy to walk to the waterfront and around the old town from here. One highlight from our 4 night stay was a flock of flamingos flying right overhead when we were sitting on the roof terrace - amazing. Susanne was super-helpful and quick to respond to messages and check if everything was ok when we arrived. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a very relaxing and easy 7 days at Marie's house. The place is stunning, even more so than the pictures, and the effort that has gone into maintaining it is evident. Marie was always responsive when we had any questions either about the house or the local area, and waited to meet us after our late night flight, so we wouldn't miss the turning for the house. Getting into Tavira is super easy, the only consideration is that the driveway of the house is long and very bumpy. You don't need a 4x4 or anything, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time we got there! Would very much recommend this place and the local area. Merci, Marie!

Really Nice place. Clean, decorated nicely, comfortable. Very friendly host, the lady who let us in absolutely loved our baby and was so sweet with him. Lovely town, and the near islands are gorgeous.

We absolutely loved our stay at casa do vale! The villa is stunning, very spacious and stylish. We were 6 adults and a baby and had everything we needed! Perfect that there are 3 bathrooms and we loved the outdoor shower! Kitchen was very well stocked and great to have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The pool is amazing though could do with another umbrella for a bit of extra shade when it’s very hot. The gardens around the villa are also so lovely. Feels very private and peaceful. There is a small shop a 5 minute walk away which is excellent for topping up on essentials. Bigger shops and bars/ restaurants are only a short drive away. Very easy to get Ubers into Tavira and Olhão also. Overall had an excellent holiday staying at Michelle’s place - would highly recommend!

Uta's place is magical. Set up high, it overlooks a small village to the south and the sprawling sera to the north. The surroundings are peaceful, away from the tourist bustle of coast. The casa itself is beautifully appointed. All of the practical things are just as they should be (great dinnerware; comfy beds; plenty of sitting areas) and, beyond this, the place is aesthetically joyous. Plenty of art and other thoughtful touches, carefully curated, that make it so inviting. Surrounding the casa are small pathways walled with verdant plant life. The whole place is clearly a labour of love. Uta is a responsive and thoughtful host. We liked it here so much we immediately booked for a longer stay next year. One of the very best places we've ever found on Airbnb.

Thankyou Nina for allowing us to share your beautiful home which was so well equipped,beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The views from the terrace where we sat in the morning with our breakfast were stunning and in the evening we sat in the garden watching the sunset . Very easy to get to supermarket and a few restaurants. Absolutely loved this place.

We stayed here with 10 young people for 6 days and we had a very good time! The house was perfect for us, because each room has the space to retreat but you meet each other in the living room and especially outside all the time. The kitchen had everything we needed, the supermarket was close by and there was a barbeque that we could use. The swimming pool had a nice temperature and was a lot bigger than the photos show. The roof terrace was one of our favorite places where we could sit in the sun until late. Olhão is a nice city with a good atmosphere where we could eat well and get lost in the old city. Faro was also so close that we could go there without any problems. The beach was accessible by boat and was super beautiful. There were two keys available, which was very useful with a group. The contact with Camilla was nice, she responded quickly. We would definitely come back!
