Beautiful part of Portugal . The house is in easy walking distances of marina and restaurants etc Mini market 50yards ! And beautiful hotel casa amor next block . Would definitely return

Isabel was een hele aardig host. Ze was flexibel met de in- en uitcheck tijden en dacht graag met je mee. De omgeving rondom de Airbnb beschikt over een leuk (Italiaans/Portugees) restaurant en er is een heerlijke bakker (naast de brandweer) waar je kunt ontbijten. Verder vonden wij de ligging in de Algarve ook fijn. Alles was met maximaal een half uur te berijden. Kortom een echte aanrader en wij zouden zeker een keer terug willen komen!

Nice and clean apartment. Somewhat outside the city center, but at walkable distance (20 min.). Free, safe parking on site. Nice pool and terrace area. Aldi shop one minute away (walking). Very easy communication with Priscilla.

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

I booked this villa for a group of 15 of us and I am so glad I did it was absolutely perfect. Carmen is a really wonderful host she went above and beyond to answer all my requests for local recommendations and was always super speedy in her response. It was really easy to get to the villa from faro airport and Ubers are easy to find. A member of our group had a car so we were able to drive to the nearest supermarket as this isn’t walkable but they have uber eats in the area or you could order a taxi to the supermarket it’s not too far. The villa is even nicer than the pictures. The gardens are lovely and the terrace and pool are really gorgeous. We had the pool heated and it was a perfect temperature. Carmen also had many Lilos etc which were great. Inside the house all the bedrooms are en suite and have aircon. The kitchen has everything you could need and there’s even a second fridge in the dining room. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking to travel as a group to this area.

We stayed here for a week and it was perfect! The beaches are only a 15-20 minute walk away or a 10 minute bike ride! Definitely recommend that. The house is great and the garden is beautiful! The plunge pool was perfect for the hot days! I would 100% recommend this place :)

Great place to stay. Great host giving us lots of useful tips. Very friendly, exactly as described. Good location for accessing beaches, towns and countryside. a Although you do have to drive everywhere. Would go back tomorrow!!

A lovely week in a beautiful house. Wonderful views over the Rio Formosa. We were unfortunate with the weather but it didn’t spoil our stay in this beautiful house. Laura was there to greet us and show us around when we arrived. We would love to return at a sunnier time !

We stayed at Noemi’s place as a family of 4, with two small children, and my sister. The set up was perfect - two bedrooms on the main floor with bathroom, and second bedrooom on the”third” level with bathroom - gave her privacy and some separation when needed! The house was beautiful - we loved old style home, the outdoor spaces and decor. We felt very at home and it was easily walkable to restaurants, grocery store and the ferry to nearby islands. We would recommend the home to anyone visiting Olhao! (And you definitely should!)

Sehr nettes Haus mitten in Olhao. Wir fanden vor allem die Lage super: Markthallen, Hafen mit Fähranleger, gute und günstige Restaurants, Cafés, Supermarkt - alles in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wer gern bei gekipptem Fenster schläft, sollte vielleicht wissen, dass man im Schlafzimmer jeden Hund auf der Straße, jeden Schritt, jedes Gespräch mitbekommt. Dabei ist es wirklich eine ruhige Straße und es fährt auch kein Auto durch! Für uns aber trotzdem eine klare 5/5: Alles sauber, alles in tadellosem Zustand, tolle Dachterrasse, unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Gerne nochmal!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach wunderbar – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Die Kommunikation mit Peter war hervorragend, er war jederzeit erreichbar, hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen und tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet – alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Besonders gefallen hat uns der große Garten, der viel Privatsphäre bietet, sowie der Pool, der perfekt zur Abkühlung einlädt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! Notre hôte étais très accueillant et réactif en cas de demande. Manque juste un miroir dans chaque chambre pour les femmes et une tablette dans la salle de bain pour poser les trousses. Sinon tout est parfait. Merci

Es una casa maravillosa. Esta muy bien localizada. Tiene de todo para disfrutar de ella. Lástima que el trato sea simplemente de negocio. La hora de salida era las 12, pedimos alargar un poco, y para ello tuvimos que pagar una cantidad desproporcionada por 5 horas mas, todo por mensaje. Igual debería regular Airbnb eso. Como íbamos con un bebe, y teníamos el vuelo muy tarde tuvimos que hacerlo. Es la primera vez que nos pasa sin que nadie entrara al día siguiente (lo sabemos porque en cuanto pagamos no hubo problemas). Por supuesto que no es obligatorio, es una cortesía, y otras veces bien no lo hemos necesitado, bien no lo hemos pedido. Cometieron un error grave diciéndonos que teníamos incluido el desayuno, y cuando fuimos, nos dijeron que se habían equivocado. Y que todo el mundo comete errores. En cualquier caso, la casa maravillosa. Perfecta para pasar unos días estupendos.

Uta's place is magical. Set up high, it overlooks a small village to the south and the sprawling sera to the north. The surroundings are peaceful, away from the tourist bustle of coast. The casa itself is beautifully appointed. All of the practical things are just as they should be (great dinnerware; comfy beds; plenty of sitting areas) and, beyond this, the place is aesthetically joyous. Plenty of art and other thoughtful touches, carefully curated, that make it so inviting. Surrounding the casa are small pathways walled with verdant plant life. The whole place is clearly a labour of love. Uta is a responsive and thoughtful host. We liked it here so much we immediately booked for a longer stay next year. One of the very best places we've ever found on Airbnb.

La villa est très fonctionnelle. Chaque chambres à sa salle de bains et toilettes. La villa est isolé et nous avons apprécié le calme. La piscine est très agréable en fin de journée. La cuisine est très bien équipée et il ne manquait vraiment rien. C’est un endroit vraiment charmant pour passer un séjour agréable. Tout était parfait du début jusqu’à la fin. On y reviendra très volontiers.

Awesome place to both recharge and meet good people. Beautiful nature and beach nearby. Cats and dogs are the best company :) Sara was very involved, always friendly and helpful and organizing trips or gatherings. Lovely environment, great for a recharge!

This property, and our stay overall, exceeded our expectations. Casa Leandro is a spacious, immaculate and spectacular house. It was so well equipped with everything we needed and a lot of thoughtful extras. We loved the roof terrace and the views from it, and found it easy to walk to the waterfront and around the old town from here. One highlight from our 4 night stay was a flock of flamingos flying right overhead when we were sitting on the roof terrace - amazing. Susanne was super-helpful and quick to respond to messages and check if everything was ok when we arrived. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a very relaxing and easy 7 days at Marie's house. The place is stunning, even more so than the pictures, and the effort that has gone into maintaining it is evident. Marie was always responsive when we had any questions either about the house or the local area, and waited to meet us after our late night flight, so we wouldn't miss the turning for the house. Getting into Tavira is super easy, the only consideration is that the driveway of the house is long and very bumpy. You don't need a 4x4 or anything, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time we got there! Would very much recommend this place and the local area. Merci, Marie!

Die Villa mit Pool war sehr schön, und der Ort Carvoeiro ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Algarve zu erkunden. Es gibt tolle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, und das Haus ist großzügig gestaltet, mit einer schönen Poolanlage und vielen gemütlichen Plätzen zum Verweilen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen!

Hele mooie en huiselijke woning met alle gemakken die je nodig hebt. Zeer stijlvol ingericht. 2 airco's wat goed uitkwam tijdens ons warme verblijf. belangrijkste ramen voorzien van horren dus geen last van muggen. Een vaatwasser ontbreekt maar die hebben wij niet gemist tijdens ons verblijf. Bedden slapen prima; harde matrassen maar daar houden wij persoonlijk van. Nina heeft ons bij aankomst rondgeleid en is heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Rusige omgeving. Af en toe een treintje overdag maar daar heb je geen last van.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Dereks wunderschönem Haus! Wer Ruhe sucht und das portugiesische Leben genießen will, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist toll renoviert, gemütlich eingerichtet, super ausgestattet und war absolut sauber. Besonders ist auch, dass wir Wasser, Wein, Kaffee, Obst, Duschbad und vieles mehr bereits im Haus vorfanden. Derek hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, war immer erreichbar und hat sich um alles gekümmert. Die Terrasse mit dem Whirlpool ist ein Traum und die Lage des Hauses im kleinen, schönen Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo ist auch super. Von hier aus ist man schnell in Tavira, Olhão, Fuseta oder auch Faro und an den Stränden der Sandalgarve. Danke für die tolle Zeit, Derek! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt :)

We zijn met 10 jongeren 6 dagen hier verbleven en we hebben een erg goede tijd gehad! Het huis was perfect voor ons, omdat elke kamer de ruimte heeft om je terug te trekken maar je elkaar in de huiskamer en vooral buiten de hele tijd tegenkomt. De keuken had alles wat we nodig hadden, de supermarkt was dichtbij en er was een barbeque waar we gebruik van mochten maken. Het zwembad had een fijne temperatuur en was een stuk groter dan op de fotos lijkt. Het dakterras was een van onze favoriete plekken waar we nog tot laat in de zon konden zitten. Olhão is een fijne stad met een goede sfeer waar we heerlijk konden eten en konden verdwalen in de oude stad. Ook Faro was zodanig dichtbij dat we er zonder problemen heen konden gaan. Het strand was bereikbaar met de boot en was super mooi. Er waren twee sleutels beschikbaar wat heel handig was met een groep. Het contact met Camilla was fijn, ze reageerde snel. We zouden zeker terugkomen!

Logement magnifiquement rénové, accueil extra de Yana, personnalisé, chaleureux . Piscine très appréciable après une longue journée de balades dans la région de Faro. L’aéroport n’amène aucune nuisance sonore ou visuelle, et le jardin de Yana est magnifique. Bref, c’est parfait!!

Olivier’s house is a really interesting, personally decorated and beautiful place. Large scale paintings all over, tons of original features, a great example of an old Olhao cube house. About ten minutes walk from the front through amazing tiled backstreets, this is exactly what we come to Olhao for. Being slightly farther out than some properties, it benefits from a sense of real Olhao outside the very prettified waterfront area. The roof terrace is a real highlight (among many), huge with great cooking facilities. I used the sizzling hot plate all week! Lots of seating in different parts and shade up there too. Olivier was really helpful when we thought we had lost the key… (I had left my bag in a restaurant) and communication was quick and friendly. The place was well cleaned and had all facilities we needed, and amongst all the usual bland ‘ikea’ apartments it’s quite a find. Recommended.
