Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Quepos

Casa Loro Verde is a very special place! My family and I had a blast and feel very fortunate to have had 1 whole week in this magical place. Excellent setting for relaxing and soaking up nature…and day tripping to so many wonderful places (Manuel Antonio, Dominical and Uvita to name a few). Melissa fb Kendry were super responsive and easy to communicate with. And Augstin met us in Portalon and guided to the house, oriented us to all the amenities and shared some recommendations for places to eat and activities to do. We can’t say enough. We had a vacation that we will remember for years to come!

Staying here was my favorite part of my stay in Manuel Antonio, as it was truly an experience in itself! The place is tucked away in a peaceful corner of Quepos, with an amazing view over lush green mountains. The apartment is very comfortable and I felt right at home, not to mention the patio, backyard, and bar are super magical. Most notably, Roy was an amazing host and I am so grateful for our conversations and his hospitality, as well as those amazing margaritas!! Nazareth as well was always friendly and happy to help. I highly recommend this stay!

We had an unforgettable stay at Gretel's place. We saw 3 types of monkeys, macaws, tucans and squirrels and iguanas, all while hanging out at the pool or on the terrace. Communication was great, Gretel checked in several times to see if everything was good. The house offers everything you could need - we cooked at the property several times and were able to use a fully stocked kitchen. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool which is very toddler friendly. The location can't be beat - you're close to both Quepos and Manuel Antonio with endless activities, restaurants etc. We really felt like we were immersed in nature and could not have wished for a better place to spend our vacation in Costa Rica.

Absolutely perfect. One of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. And the best host experience as well with Marianna. I kept saying the whole stay “this is my dream house!” Perfect for families. Our kids spent hours in the pool every day we were there. We hope to be back soon!

Honestly this place is more incredible in person than the photos, which is hard to believe! If you book this place, just know that there’s a steep incline getting to the house so make sure you rent an appropriate vehicle for that. There aren’t places that are walkable nearby in my opinion, but that’s the price you pay for an amazing view and this type of house. Vanessa was awesome- make sure to use the private chef service and the beach service! Both were awesome. We also highly recommend eating at Ronny’s for lunch

Beautiful home and amazing host! The directions to the house were spot on, and check-in was quick and easy. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the wildlife that visited the property—seeing monkeys almost daily was the highlight of our trip! I also had the pleasure of meeting the host, who was so kind and helpful. She even helped me book a guided tour and a very last-minute one. You can really tell she loves hosting. If I get the chance, I’ll definitely be back!

Once we found Sonia’s place everything was fantastic! It is right in the middle of town with many restaurants nearby to walk to, we loved Cafe Milagro right next door. The rooms were comfy, the balcony was nice, and the book shelf was a bonus.

Rosie is an exceptional host. This Airbnb property is undoubtedly a 10/10, my girlfriend and I had a fantastic experience during our week-long stay. Although we arrived six hours prior to the designated check-in time, Rosie was already in communication with us. Throughout our stay, she proved to be highly responsive and helpful. One notable feature that impressed me was the presence of a 24/7 security personnel on site. We were provided with a remote control for the gate, ensuring seamless entry and exit. The environment was remarkably quiet, definitely would recommend this place. And can’t wait to be back soon.

I had an amazing stay at thierry Airbnb! The house was exactly as described and even better than I expected. The space was clean, comfortable with thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. The location was perfect—close to transportation, and restaurants making it easy to explore the area. thierry was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay, providing great local recommendations and ensuring I had everything I needed. This place was amazing. The balcony overlooking the forest is beautiful and we saw so many different birds and animals just hanging out on the patio with the binoculars. The place was initially a little difficult to find but the hose was very responsive. Definitely beneficial to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. It’s up in the hills and the roads leading to the place are unpaved. But we overall LOVED the location. The place was as described and the host helped coordinate an amazing guide for the park. Overall amazing experience.

Excellent. No complaints. Close to the beach and the park entrance. The place is actually on the edge of the park boundary. There were lizards, crabs, monkeys, and horses on the property. Everything is nearby and walkable so you dont really need a car but your parking is directly in front of the building. Host communicated well. Place was super clean and comfortable with everything needed. Would stay again.

A very nice private place, we were visited by a family of monkeys which was very fun, I hope to return, Russ was very friendly, the place is fully equipped very close to liqueur restaurants etc ! An excellent place to relax and get out of day to day Super recommended!!

Great place to stay to visit all that Manuel Antonio has on offer, close to restaurants, supermarkets and bus very convenient for beach and national park. Yosue was especially helpful and communicative ☺️

Nice house, beautiful garden and swimming pool, very friendly staff. The only downside is that to get to the house is super steep up and also with a sharp bend. If you don't have 4x4 it is difficult to go up.

This place is perfect location, steps from the beach and walking distance to most of the shops, food and light life! The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. They did my laundry for $5 and left it folded, outside of my room the same day. The bathroom was a little small but I didn´t mind. The water was hot. Would no doubt stay here again in Jacó.

Melvin is a great host - super friendly and helpful. He met us early to help us drop our bags off and always communicated quickly. The place is clean and comfortable with a kitchen we could cook in. The balcony was great - we sat outside in the evening and observed the sloth in the tree right outside. Highly recommend for a couple looking to stay in Manuel Antonio.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. We were celebrating a momentous occasion, and the host left a delicious bottle of champagne along with fresh fruit. This was such a special touch and helped to make our stay even that much more enjoyable. The place was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The beach view was the wonderful cherry on top! The host was very responsive to all of my questions and inquiries. I definitely recommend this Airbnb to others, as it was a lovely experience for us. Sending a big thanks to the host!

Had a lovely stay at Ideal Living. Peaceful and private space for our 10-day trip. It was super clean, had everything we needed and Steve, our host, was highly communicative and friendly throughout. He even brought us fresh fruit from his farm, including fresh coconuts and prepared some fresh ceviche too. 5/5 stay!

Perfect location between Emilio's Cafe and Hotel Mariposa. We walked to every fantastic meal we enjoyed. Loved the pool and the monkeys. Host's assistant Hector was very helpful and responsive. Thank you!!

This unit in Bahia Encantada is excellent, on the beach, clean and well-appointed. Just what the doctor ordered....if he ordered cold drinks at Clarita's (next door restaurant), a beach at your door step and the relaxing sound of surf. An excellent place. Pura Vida!

i didn't get to meet jhonathon while i was there because he was out of the country. The people he hired were very friendly and helpfull. including Edar who is the gatekeeper and Luis who i think makes sure things get done. the landscaping is very well done and the pool is warmed by the sun to a very comfortable temp. i liked the pictures on the website but seeing it was better. Jaco is a tourist town but if you want to eat like the natives i recommend Garabito and Rustico.

What a wonderful place to stay. Bernarda was so responsive and helpful. I hurt my knee I may last night and she brought over some pain relieving cream! Just a gem. The apartment was spotless with a bowl of delicious fresh fruit and champagne in the frig to help us celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! Over all just a wonderful experience! The view of the water was lovely and we walked to the beach everyday! Loved our visit and our nature walks at the butterfly house and bird tour! Just amazing!! We can’t thank you enough for your hospitality
