We can highly recommend this accommodation! The house with the pool, great rooms and bathrooms as well as lounges was just wonderful. Everything has been thought of in the furnishings and equipment. We loved everything about this house! The sunset in the nearby lagoon made the stay perfect. Mafalda is a great host and communication was always friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you for everything, we had the best time! <3

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Jerusas property is stunning. Very spacious and beautifully decorated, had everything you could need in a holiday home. Host is very clear with communication and so helpful, always ready to answer any questions. Guests should make sure to have a car as although by car you can reach many locations within 3-5 minutes, by walking it could be a little more difficult. Overall experience was fantastic and very relaxing.

We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. La piscine chauffée a été un vrai plus, surtout en cette saison, nous avons pu en profiter pleinement. Ana Paula, l'hôte, a été remarquable : toujours disponible, très sympathique et à l'écoute de nos besoins, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le calme du logement est également à souligner, idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer. Petit point à noter : il est nécessaire d'avoir une voiture car il n'y a pas de supermarché à proximité à pied.

Wir haben mit 2 Familien eine Woche in Daniel's Haus verbracht und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus und Grundstück sind nicht nur groß, sondern auch schon eingerichtet bzw. angelegt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und mit beheiztem Pool, neuem Kicker, Yogamatten, der Tischtennisplatte und dem Grill gibt es auch ohne Ausflüge viel zu tun. Aber angesichts der schönen, ruhigen Natur (ab und zu nerven das Hundegebell etwas) in unmittelbarer Umgebung und den vielseitigen Strände (im Westen mit Wellen, bei Sesimbra ruhig karibisch, allerdings kalt:-)) wäre es schade, auf Ausflüge zu verzichten. Man braucht allerdings einen Mietwagen und Einkaufsgelegenheiten sind etwas weiter weg (bis den den kleinen Shop im Ort, der Essentials anbietet). Wir würden das Haus definitiv nochmal buchen.

Wonderful stay here as a group of 12 girls on a hen weekend from England. There are so many amenities, way more than the photos show, the outdoor pool was lovely and there is a whole separate kitchen complex to the house with lots of space for food prep. A whole gym area with saunas and even a tennis court! Inside the house is very modern and stylish with an ensuite for every room and more than enough beds for us all, even the little extra rooms had comfy single beds! Travel to Lisbon was anywhere between 25 minutes and 50 minutes depending on traffic but Ubers were easy to get. It was lovely to be able to check out slightly later so we could relax by the pool on the last day and Catia was wonderfully helpful. Would definitely come back for a longer stay!

Unser Aufenthalt bei José war rundum gelungen! Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und der Ausblick auf die Pferdewiese einfach traumhaft. Besonders gefallen hat uns der liebevoll zusammengestellte Frühstückskorb am Morgen – eine tolle Geste! Auch das Mithelfen beim Füttern der Tiere war ein echtes Highlight, vor allem für Naturliebhaber. Die Möglichkeit, kleine Wanderungen über Pferde- und Kuhwiesen zu unternehmen, hat unseren Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind!

The place was modern and comfortable. I had 2 good nights of sleep in there. Shower was good, everything worked well. The location will depend on what you want. Everything was clean apart from the calcium in the bathroom glass. Honestly it doesn’t bother me at all, it is just a tip for the owners. Everything else was perfect, I would definitely stay there again depending on my needs due to its location. You can see that the owners really care about how you feel when staying at their place.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het huis van Dinis. Zeer prettig ontvangst en uistekende communciatie. De ligging van het huis is erg bijzonder met fantastisch uitzicht. We zijn 4 nachten verbleven en hebben genoten van alles wat de omgeving te bieden heeft. We hebben fantastische hikes gemaakt vanuit het huis naar Cabo de Roca. Wel een uitdagende hike met vele hoogtemeters met mooie uitzichten en stranden, zoals Praia da Ursa. Ook een hike naar het noorden naar het strand Paria do Gribeto. Ook een fantastisch strand waar je je even alleen op de wereld voelt. De afdaling naar het strand is wel écht een uitdaging. Heerlijk gegeten bij het restaurant Azenhas do Mar - Piscinas op nog geen 400 meter van het huis. Daarnaast lekkere verse vis gehaald bij de lokale markt en die heerlijk gegrild op de BBQ. Kortom, we hebben mega genoten van de rust, ruimte en alle uitzichten.

A casa é lindíssima, tudo funciona perfeitamente bem. Tivemos apenas um problema, no último dia a água quente falhou e não voltou até nossa saída. Infelizmente neste dia o host não respondeu prontamente como de costume e a solução apresentada não funcionou. Porém considerei esse problema algo pontual, uma vez que a casa era maravilhosa e tudo funcionou muito bem. Portanto creio que tenha sido uma situação isolada e não deixei que isso influenciasse no mew review no geral. Recomendo a casa e voltaria tranquilamente. Tudo foi muito bem apresentado, a casa é moderna, super limpa, banheiro excelente, chuveiro perfeito, meus passageiros amaram.

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Arrábida! The view of the sea is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the ocean every day was a dream. The rooms have a sea view and were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and more — all the appliances were top-notch, which made cooking super fun and easy. We especially loved the fireplace in the evenings. Mariana made sure there was plenty of wood, and it made the space feel really cozy. Mariana was friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place!!

Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.

Our host Sophia was extremely helpful and always responsive. My family had a wonderful time visiting Lisbon. The house was very comfortable for our family of eight. We would highly recommend this bnb for any family visiting Portugal!

Wir hatten bei AirBnB noch nicht oft ein so gepflegtes, stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichtetes und gut ausgestattetes Haus gemietet! Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und großzügig und es ist mehr als die nötige Ausstattung vorhanden - Strandtücher, Bademäntel, Vorräte zur Benutzung in der Küche etc. Das Haus liegt zwar nicht ganz so idyllisch in einem etwas abgelegenen Neubaugebiet (was für uns aus dem Inserat jedoch bekannt war), dafür aber sehr praktisch für Ausflüge nach Lissabon oder ans Meer. Ein Auto ist definitiv zu empfehlen. Danke für den großartigen Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

The place was very nice. Very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. But the thing that stood out the most was the covered balcony on the roof. To sit up there in the evening with a glass of wine was our favourite thing to do while in Palmela. We did find the streets a little noisy especially in the mornings. And found it a little far from Lisbon but worked perfect on our way down to the Algarve. We enjoyed our stay it worked great for us.

Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

Paula was amazing, so helpful, went over and beyond to help us and provide us with lots of info. So friendly, offered to book restaurants for us etc The house is fabulous better than the pictures for location and peacefulness . Swimming pool was lovely all the outside sofas. The view of the mountains was just wonderful. You need a car to drive to village, best village is azetitio, lovely restaurants and shops. Great local cafe and very reasonable compared to london prices. We drove to different places and different beaches. Loved Lisbon 44 mins away. Cascais was a pretty town but too touristy. Comporta was amazing, super special, wonderful place to eat and unusual shops. We drove to it 1hour but you. A get a ferry from Setabul €35 for three people. Thank you Paula for a great stay.
