Very good host! She welcomed us with a lot of information and good recommendations for restaurants and visiting Lisbon. The cleaning was impeccable. However, there was a smell of dampness present. Maybe just the concrete buildings that cause this, as we are not used to this smell in Quebec. The small intimate corner is inviting! Thank you Annabella for your warm welcome!

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Christoph was a warm and friendly host with whom we had several nice chats including when he invited us and our little dog, Jimi, for sundowners and coffee. Christoph was very welcoming to us all, including Jimi, who made great friends with his dog Lara. He was very responsive to our needs, although we had no problems other than that Jimi would have liked to have spent lots more time with Christoph and Lara! Christoph kindly solved this problem for us at our request by creating a barrier between Jimi and his and Lara's private space to stop Jimi from becoming a nuisance! Christoph is very knowledgeable about the local and surrounding areas and recommended some nice places for us to visit. Christoph has created a lovely, comfortable and well equipped home for his visitors and we would highly recommend Casa Belavista to anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of Poprtugal. Cozy and comfortable. This place was perfect for our needs. Anabela was a great host! Be prepared for some narrow streets in the neighborhood but we got used to them pretty quick. Be sure to walk around Penedo at sunset - beautiful!

Definitely the best Airbnb space we've ever been to. Despite the farm profile (with a donkey and a horse), in reality the space was simply a house with a huge garden and everything very well arranged and clean (something that does not usually happen on a farm). So the donkey and the horse were merely pets, as was the house dog (16 months old, full of energy and always wanting to play). Our female dog (11-year-old Golden) can walk around freely without any supervision, as the large plot is fully fenced. The house is very well cleaned, without insects, with all the amenities. Great friendliness from everyone. Excellent house where we intend to return. Super recommended.

Paula was amazing, so helpful, went over and beyond to help us and provide us with lots of info. So friendly, offered to book restaurants for us etc The house is fabulous better than the pictures for location and peacefulness . Swimming pool was lovely all the outside sofas. The view of the mountains was just wonderful. You need a car to drive to village, best village is azetitio, lovely restaurants and shops. Great local cafe and very reasonable compared to london prices. We drove to different places and different beaches. Loved Lisbon 44 mins away. Cascais was a pretty town but too touristy. Comporta was amazing, super special, wonderful place to eat and unusual shops. We drove to it 1hour but you. A get a ferry from Setabul €35 for three people. Thank you Paula for a great stay.

A perfect stay. Very clean house identical to the photos, located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to the beaches. Perfect for a long weekend or even a week's vacation. The services offered are excellent. Very warm welcome, I would recommend it.

A Perfect Stay in Amora, Portugal! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house in Amora was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly welcoming. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special—starting with the thoughtful welcome basket filled with local treats and essentials. Such a lovely touch! One of our favorite parts of the stay was the pool. It was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also really appreciated the owner’s local recommendations—every spot they suggested was a hit, from charming cafes to hidden gems in the area. Thanks to their guidance, we discovered a nearby beach frequented mostly by locals—and it was absolute paradise. Quiet, stunning, and totally unspoiled. It made our trip even more magical. This rental truly felt like a home away from home. Cozy, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. We can’t wait to come back!

Heli was very helpful, friendly and checked in on us to make sure everything ok. House and gardens were excellent with lots of facilities. Plunge pool was lovely and a great asset to the garden as was the covered seating area to get some shade when needed. Road was very busy traffic wise so a bit noisy at night from the front bedroom. Air conditioning in the bedrooms would be a bonus but fans provided in all rooms. Would highly recommend this property and will be back. Thank you Heli for a lovely, relaxing enjoyable stay x

The host was incredibly welcoming, communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Every detail, from the cozy linens to the fully equipped kitchen, was spot on. The location was unbeatable—tucked away in a quiet, safe neighborhood but still just 20 minutes from Lisbon centre which has amazing restaurants, shops, and attractions. We loved waking up to the natural light pouring in, enjoying coffee on the balcony, and relaxing after a day of exploring. If you’re lucky enough to find this place available, BOOK IT IMMEDIATELY! When we return, I’ll definitely book again. Thank you.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

An absolute gem! The view is breathtaking! Airbnb is equipped with everything you need! Petter is a friendly and overall great host! If you are traveling with young kids this is your go to spot! Not only kids can run around but pool is so great that there is a lot of shallow area for them to play in! We would highly recommend this place and can't wait to be back soon!

We had an amazing week on this property. The house is incredibly clean, comfortable and well appointed. The surrounding area has great shopping and dining. It felt like everything we needed was 15 minutes away. Elisabete was quick to respond and help in any way and she was incredibly kind. We were celebrating some birthdays, and she was thoughtful enough to leave us gifts of wine and tinned fish (!) upon arrival. We hope to return.

Just had an amazing stay here, the villa is even better in person than on the photos and the heated pool was lovely. Ana Paula was great to deal with, very friendly, gave us lots of useful tips and information . we will be back !

This is a special spot in a gorgeous part of the Setubal peninsula. It's extremely quiet and even though there is a house behind and next to it, it feels very private. Even when people were enjoying the pool in the house behind this one, I could barely hear them as I sat out on my peaceful front patio. The completely fenced-in yard was a great spot for my dog to explore. The kitchen is completely stocked and the rental even came with paper towels (a true rarity), and a complimentary bottle of wine and water. The bathroom had plenty of soap and toilet paper -- something that's not always a given here. The beds were comfortable, the windows were new and solid, and the outdoor shower was a nice way to cool off after a ride using the included bikes. The region is gorgeous with many beautiful hikes and vistas everywhere. Perhaps the best part of it all though, was Joao's communication. He was always quick to respond and had great local recommendations. Can't wait to come back!

The Airbnb is beautiful. Gorgeous. The nature surroundings are really nice. I had some electricity issues while I was there but it was just unfortunate. The container is super cozy and homey. I fully recommend staying here 🙏🏼

The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!

We felt right at home in this lovely rental. It was so nice, bright, very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Kids (4&6) loved the yard and played everyday for hours while we relaxed in the outdoor kitchen. The beach was a short drive with lots of easy parking in May. Great place to stay for day trips to Lisbon and Sintra. Antonio was a great host and easy to reach. They left us lovely fruits and pumpkin jam and delicious cake.

Loved everything about this air BnB. Celso had thought of absolutely everything, probably the most well equipped air BnB we’ve ever stayed in. To wake up in the dunes and watch sunset from them was such a treat - hope to return again soon! Recommend avoiding heavy luggage and packing smaller overnight bags to make it easy getting from the car park to the air BnB. Would also recommend princesa beach club for lunch nearby, had a great day here.

Jens is kind, friendly, humourous, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations from airport transport to local restaurants. The apartment is really an oasis. The courtyard is so peaceful and lovely just to sip coffee listening to the birds in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Fascinating history of the renovations work which have been done to the highest specifications, with attention to details. Really a home away from home. Would love to return!
