We enjoyed our time at Emerald Treehouse. The mountain views are exceptional. lots of trees and it feels really private. I will say getting up the hill to the property was a challenge. I'm so glad we drive a SUV. The road is gravel with deep holes, so be mindful of that. Another thing is the house had a lot of pet hair on the furnishings. I know the description said pet friendly, but pet hair was all on the couches and the pillows. We didn't have any pets with us. Overall a beautiful house, I can tell it is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Mama. The location was peaceful and private, the house itself was beautifully furnished inside! Loved everything about it. Host was extremely informative and responsive. Highly recommend to any family looking for a well equiped place to vacay!

This cabin was absolutely magical! We visited on Memorial Day weekend and it could have been more perfect! It’s a beautiful cabin that has amazing views and really makes you feel at home. Our dog Luna absolutely loved the place! They left a whole variety of movies and games for us to enjoy while we were there as well! They also included a list with the best restaurants, hikes spots and things to do! We didn’t want to leave when our trip was over! Would love to come back one day in the future!

This is a 5 star review only because there’s not an option for more stars. This place is incredible. The cabin has spectacular views of nature. Everything in the cabin is simple and beautiful. Jessica has thought of everything from welcome card and wine to robes and shoes for the hot tub. The cabin is a short drive to Asheville but don’t miss out on what Weaverville has to offer. Lots of local spots with great food and vibes. Our three day stay was absolutely amazing and we did not want to leave. Cannot recommend this place enough! We hope to visit again!

My partner and I picked this spot for a much needed weekend birthday getaway. It could not have been more perfect! The hot tub was hot and ready for us on arrival. Although it is right next to the hosts’ home, it felt so cozy and private. When you’re on the back porch you feel like you’re suspended in the trees! There is also an adorable little fire pit nook, which we would have taken advantage of if the weather had permitted. All of the details are so thoughtful. Even though it’s a “tiny home”, we never felt cramped or crowded. The loft is also back open. I saw previous reviews that said it was closed. We didn’t need it but I’m sure others would like to use it! Both the couch and the bed are EXTREMELY comfortable, and there are tons of extra blankets of different textures for snuggling up. The towels were thick and plush, and they had nice high quality toilet paper! The kitchen is super well stocked and we cooked a full meal with ease. We will be returning yearly! Best cabin EVER!

This was easily one of my favorite stays. I used to live in Wolf Laurel, but loved the easy access to both town & nature that Kirk’s cabin offers. The interior is thoughtfully designed and the exterior looks like a storybook cabin. Having the host on-site helped me feel safe as a woman traveling alone with her dog in a remote location. Kirk gave us complete privacy.

Mike and Cate are wonderful hosts with every attention to detail making their wonderful cabin a five star resort. There was even a pizza in the freezer for our weary grandchildren. With every amenity including laundry detergent and Bounce dryer sheets (we travel with those but were so happy they had them on hand); it makes for a stress free visit. Thank you Mike and Cate!

Fantastic stay for my husband’s 40th birthday! This place is gorgeous! The pictures do not do the views justice! It’s private but still close to everything you might need. It was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies, as well.

We had such a great time at Carrie’s cabin. The view from the deck is just beautiful, with picture-perfect mountain views that made for perfect sunsets by the fire bowl. The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt comfortable and so peaceful, tucked away on a private, spacious green lot. We grilled out, spent time on the deck, and really just enjoyed slowing down. It’s a quick drive into Asheville, but there’s a lot to love right in Fairview. We visited some great little restaurants and trails nearby. Carrie was a wonderful, responsive host, and we would love to come back!

Great cabin and host. A little tricky finding the driveway by the gps but she gave instructions. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the near future

This was such a cute Airbnb, and exquisitely detailed. The porch was amazing, and I loved cooking in their kitchen, as I had everything that I needed with a beautiful gas range stove. The natural lighting, open concept, and modern rustic finishes make it worthy of booking. Additionally, Marshall is such a sweet little town. I will definitely return!

This is a true Mountain retreat! The porch and view were amazing and it extremely peaceful. The drive up is a mountain road, and it is set into the woods, so be sure you're comfortable with windy, unpaved roads. The place was perfect for our girls trip. We were able to drive to both Asheville and Great hiking easily and the stocked kitchen made it easy to cook our dinners at the house, there is a grocery store about 15 minutes from the house. Comfortable beds and open living space made for cozy nights and mornings. There was a large storm while we were there that took out a tree and powerlines, blocking the drive and knocking out power. Heather had fantastic communication the entire time and made sure we still had what we needed and were aware of any updates. Easy and fast communication and check in/out. Would absolutely book with Heather again!

I wanted a quiet weekend getaway, and this place was perfect. this was my first time in an Airbnb and it was a great experience

This place is such a gem!! So peaceful and cute, the place itself is very clean and the location is incredible. It feels very private despite being not far at all from town. Summer and Audra were wonderful hosts and the animals were so cute! Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was the most amazing cabin that feels like a place that has been lived in-something I keep searching for and rarely find! Like your clean uncles cabin in the middle of nowhere. It’s hard to find, but when I do I’m so happy. Nick was very responsive and helpful-a very nice trip and a beautiful view-the view was worth the trip alone.

Jaclyn’s place was gorgeous. It was exactly as described—spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The view is spectacular. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The cozy living area made it feel like a home away from home. The host was very communicative and gracious. I would highly recommend the wonderful home.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Dupont State Forest Getaway. The cabin is spotless and tastefully decorated. It's super quiet and the surrounding scenery (which is easily enjoyed by looking out one of the many large windows or from a hammock outside) is so beautiful. We loved the proximity to Dupont State Forest and the hiking recommendations that Brian provided. We can't wait to come back!

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. The location was peaceful and private, and the views were spectacular! Seeing a mother bear with two cubs in the yard was an added bonus! Candace was responsive and her instructions and directions were very helpful. We hope to return to this amazing cabin in the Fall!

This place is incredible! It is a beautiful, thoughtful, and cozy home. I can’t say enough about how peaceful this place is for also being so close to in town amenities and hiking trails. All the host instructions were clear, every time I had a question I would read the guide first and my question was answered. We definitely plan on staying on our next WNC visit!

What a beautiful and tranquil hidden gem! My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days and absolutely loved it. It’s plenty secluded to give you the privacy you need and 15 minutes from a good area with cell service. I’d highly recommend and will stay again in a heartbeat!

Spent Memorial Day weekend here with my family to spend time with friends on Lake Adger and this cabin did not disappoint! Very spacious, comfortable beds, and the jetted tub was just what this Mama needed after running around with her littles during the day! Will stay here again in the future!
