Charming family guest house in Sasashi village, 120 km north of Kutaisi. Built over 100 years ago by my great grandfather, this typical Svanetian house was abandoned for over 50 years before we decided to renovate and give a new life to it. The house is on two floors with a spacious living area, a vintage fireplace and fully functional kitchen on the ground level. Four renovated bedrooms on the second floor. Bathrooms on each floor. Double and single beds can accommodate up to 12 persons.

Very warm and hospitable people, felt at home. A wonderful wooden house - geese, turkeys, and roosters come to visit. Delicious fresh country food. There is a waterfall nearby where you can swim. Beautiful! This is certainly not a luxury hotel, but a modest wooden cottage, but we really liked it!!!!

Giorgi’s place was very clean and organized. Checking was easy and his family is helpful (they live downstairs). The only issue is there is no air conditioning and during August it can be quite hot. Although air conditioning probably wasn’t needed until now because of climate change. It would be a nice touch to a great place.

Everything was great, the place is exactly as described and the host was very responsive. Please pay attention to the location, the point in Airbnb was incorrect (the host sent the right one). One shower/toilet for 10 guests is a bit inconvenient, it would be great if there was another one.

David’s listing is a fantastic value for the price. Oni is a quiet peaceful town surrounded by beautiful nature and mountains. David and Natia were extremely kind and hospitable hosts. They arranged a reservation for my travel there, and when leaving. Not only that but they offered me lots of wine and great tips for local things to see. As a solo traveler they were welcomed hosts, also giving me a tour of local mineral springs. Finally without even having to ask, David gave me a ride to my transport back to the city when I was running late. All around incredible hosts at an incredible location!
