Beachfront holiday rental in Raiatea

It is even better than the photos! Very spacious, great outdoor area with direct water access, bathroom and kitchen and dining area are spotless and lovely decorated.

You will love this location. There is a coral reef right off the dock where you can snorkle and see all the colorful fish. We were able to have the tour companies pick us up for our excursions. We highly reccomend Noè Plantier for 4x4 island tour. Noè grew up on the island and we had an amazing day. Noè can be reached on face book vanilla 4x4 botanical excursions. We also highly recomend Nui with Watercolor fishing. Nui offers fishing excursions as well as water tours around the island.You can find him on face book watercolor sailing. I cant post contact details here but I will on other travel sites. Please note that you will need the host to arrage a taxi from the airport to the grocery store, and then arrange a water taxi to take you to the location. This will cost approx 23,000 xpf each way. Ensure to inquire about what essentials will be required for your stay including toilet paper and soap. The only transport is kyack or bikes if available to access the store.

The property offers a magnificent terrace and a pontoon facing the sea. The house is very spacious. Having kayaks is a real plus. The only downside for us is the hardness of the mattresses.

I felt like I was on vacation with my grandparents. Hélène and Marcel were welcoming and had very good tips on activities to do on Tahaa. The rental of the bike was a real plus!!!

My husband and I had such a memorable stay at Tama’s bungalow. First of all, he picked us up at the ferry port promptly. Chilled fresh coconut water (cracked on site by him!) was served as a warm welcome, and he brought us several different sports such as vanilla farm, peal farm , local church, several good spots for snorkeling (to see sting rays), etc. I loved when he picked up some leaves and flowers from Trees/plants and let us smell… lime leaves, lemongrass leaves, some kind of basil, Ylang-Ylang flowers, and many more.. I felt like I was totally immersed in the local culture and its nature. Along the way, he talked about the history of FrenchPolynesia, characteristic of each island (of Society Islands), local vegetations, things to do/see, eatery recommendation. The bungalow where we stayed is at the top of the hill across his residence, with amazing ocean view. We had also a boat tour with him to see sharks. Tama is a great host and I highly recommend his bungalow!!

Everything was fine except that the title is bed and breakfast and we had no breakfast... Otherwise don't have to put breakfast 😌 Friendly .

One of our favourite accomodations to stay while were were Island hopping through the Society Islands. Nacha and Andre’ were both very welcoming to their home. The breakfast was bountiful as to were activities to do in the area. We had our own privacy to do as we pleased with our days/evenings. We would recommend this accomodation highly. From start to finish, there really aren’t enough wonderful things to say about this property nor Nacha & André’s generous hospitality! They go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. The breakfast was always amazing & delicious & we were fortunate enough to join them for a couple of luncheons. Also, learning about the locals’ history, ancestor’s, livelihood, culture, & cuisine was just an added bonus. Having the bicycles & kayaks just adds to the many benefits of this property, including the opportunity to wash our clothes. Kind gestures of rides to town for a grocery run is also another example of the host’s generosity. We highly recommend this property and we most certainly would return if and when we’re ever back on Raiatea.

In addition to a very well-equipped, clean and nice accommodation, we were very well received by Nathalie and Tapu. They are very kind, friendly and showed us and gave us advice on all the activities to do in the area. Hospitable, they offered us a drink of friendship the first day we arrived. Finally, they made it easy for us to rent a car, which was a great help for us to get around the island. Thanks to them for their warm welcome!

The website doesn’t come close to how great Luk and Anne have put this place together. Very small, intimate resort with great meals and a bar at our disposal. The whole property is fantastic!

Jenny and Bruno offered to organize round-trip transport from Raiatea airport to reach their guesthouse, (2 taxis and 1 boat), it makes life easier! Good hospitality, good places, good stay, thank you!

We only spent two nights in Tahaa but our stay could not have gone better thanks to Bruno and his wife. The setting is idyllic, a comfortable bungalow in a beautiful flower garden, facing the sea. The stars shine brightly at night! Great spot that allows you to disconnect well even for a short time. Convenient for car rental, the outdoor kitchen is a plus even though we didn't have the opportunity to use it. A nice welcome, Bruno is responsive to the requests we had beforehand. I recommend it.

right on the water, with the ability to kayak to a motu across from the house with good snorkeling and a beach. Jean Paul is very kind, and I really appreciated breakfast included. you will need a car to get here, but it's not far from Uturoa. some very good restaurants nearby. mosquitos were a little pesky, but that was the only issue.

We stayed with Stéphanie for the full time in Raiatea, it was such a beautiful place, interior (nicely decorated) as well as exterior. She cares for her garden (More beautiful than the public botanical garden if you ask me) the steep decent to the house gives you an amazing view of the bay, and you have comfortable furniture on her private small beach to take the view in closely. We went for one of the best kayak trips we had in French Polynesia! Although English isn't her strongest side Stéphanie was informative, helpful and very friendly. We strongly recommend this place - it's a perfect fit to an enjoyable holiday! Be mindful that it gets rather hot in European comparison (the sea brease doesn't pass the apartment and the ceiling fans aren't quite as effective as AC. However, windows and the sliding doors are well-equipped with Mosquito net so you can have it all open 24/7 (Fantastic)

Probably, the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to, spacious, inviting, AC was quiet, shower was hot, WiFi worked fine. Rosiane and her husband met us in person and made us feel welcome from the start. Later that day, we had an emergency, and the hosts were right there to help us. The beach is very beautiful, and it is right across the road. We could not have asked for more.

Clean apartment, bright, with all the necessities, and even small touches (fruit dish etc.). Very good communication with Fabien. I recommend it!

This home is tucked away on a slope overlooking a beautiful bay. Excellent privacy and you’ll barely see another soul. We enjoyed the chill evenings together as a family and then made our trips to the main town about 40 minutes away for excursions.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofpat rental, Very nice house in a peaceful and relaxing location. Hosts are very attentive and responsive. We highly recommend this listing.
