Exactly as described. The only thing negative I could say would be the kitchen dishes and utensils. Didn’t have any measuring spoons or measuring cups. Couldn’t find a knife that would cut through a tomato. I would suggest they upgrade those things and it would be better.

We had a great stay over the holiday weekend. We loved the waterfront property and large, fenced yard for our dogs. It was great that pets are allowed for a nominal $100 fee so that we didn't have to board them. If the property didn't accept pets, we likely would not even have taken the trip. The home is deceptively large, with plenty of room for our large family. The living room was very comfortable with a ton of seating for everyone. We enjoyed all being together. As others have mentioned, there were some quirks with the home, mostly because it's older lakefront. There were some bugs in the house, but that's country/lake living. They are also on a septic, so you have to be careful what to flush. We live in the country as well so we were used to it. Plenty of dishes, towels, bedding, etc. Some of the dishes were slightly dirty from the previous guests (I'm guessing) not cleaning thoroughly. We always rewash anyway. Great stay, will go back. My wife and I enjoyed our two weeks at the home. Our objective was to find a quiet comfortable place in the countryside. Our lakeside stay was perfect with all the amenities and serenity that we sought.

Absolute little paradise! Incredibly peaceful surroundings, the house was very clean with high end finishes and everything you need! We were visiting family so not there much during our stay but I made sure to get up early to be able to sit on the porch with coffee! Next time in the area will definitely choose this place again!

Place was perfect for what we needed. Private and a nice country and peaceful setting. Had a big pond and was able to catch a few bass while there. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time ! Management on the property was extremely helpful and friendly! If we had any questions they were quick to respond. The lake was amazing and within walking distance so if you love to fish or have kids that do. You should definitely stay a couple days. There is also a small pond on the property for the kids with plenty of bluegill to catch ! The shopping centers are 20 mins north (Walmart)or 9 mins going South(gas stations/tackle shops/ fast food). So you’re not too far in case you need to pick up necessities. Definitely will be booking again !

We had my sons graduation here and we just loved the place. Kids enjoyed the pool, the space outside was so big I even fit a big bouncy house in the yard next to the pool. The rooms were a good size and plenty of parking. Edna was great about answering all my questions.I would defiantly use this house again in the future.

Great place to have fun and relax

We only stayed overnight but the place was as expected from the listing description and pictures. It was very clean and appointed in such a way that felt put together but also not cluttered. It’s like if the clean girl aesthetic was an apartment. Did a little cooking and the kitchen had essentials in place, but wasn’t heavily stocked. Good for light cooking but probably not for anything more ambitious. The beds were comfortable, I appreciated how clean the floors, bathrooms and beds were. Everything was quite clean, those are just my top priority items. Good communication from the owners as we were approaching check in. He was proactive and I didn’t have to reach out for any of the info, it was very clear. Didn’t have any issues or get to use the pool, but it was a good experience.

I really can’t say enough about this property! Although our stay was very short, we had everything we needed and more! Beautiful home for a quick getaway, but even more gorgeous if you were planning a wedding or an event! Even though Angela was preparing for a wedding, she was more than accommodating and answered questions in the most timely fashion. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home/ranch with us! We will most definitely be back when we travel that way again!

Heather was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with….super friendly and helpful with all my questions. The neighborhood was a lake community, with mostly RVs and trailers. I was expecting more traditional houses in the gated community but I didn’t fully research the area. Overall our experience was pleasant and the cottage was adorable. We would stay here again.

We loved how clean it was and decorated so nicely. They even had provisions for our little dog. Towels, sheet, bowls etc. It was a very comfortable place, the bed was great and a big tub shower with very hot water. After being in the car for 9 hours it was nice to have beautiful property to walk around and places to sit and chill. We will definitely stay again.

Overall we had a good stay, Check in and out instructions were clear, beautiful property on the lake, however the dock advertised in the listing is nothing like it is in pictures…. It is unusable because of the amount of spiders that call it home I’m sure it maybe hard to stay on top of keeping them out of the dock but necessary for full use of the property as advertised.

I had a blast celebrating my birthday here. The pool was amazing and the views were spectacular. Not a far drive from DFW but enough to be out in nature. The house was clean, comfy beds and a great kitchen and dining table to entertain. Pick this place!!!!

We had the most incredible stay at this lake house. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful surroundings, beautiful lake views, and thoughtful touches throughout the home. The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. Waking up to the sunrise over the water and enjoying coffee on the deck was a daily highlight. We spent our days kayaking, grilling, and playing endless games in the amazing game garage. The host was responsive, kind, and clearly takes great pride in making sure guests have a memorable stay. If you're looking for a serene escape with all the comforts of home and more, book this place. We are already talking about coming back next year.

Fantastic stay for a wedding weekend! Was very comfortable for 3 couples. We all had our own bathroom and a great living and dining area to accommodate all of us. Liz was very responsive and you can tell she is a host that goes the extra mile! Would recommend for anyone in East Texas.

Needed a spot to visit family. We found this gem: very great spot with lots of outdoor space. Great hospitality!

The location is obviously great with direct access to the lake. The house is spacious and perfect for a small family. Loved the kitchen layout! The home had a lot of great amenities like fire pit, grill, kayaks, extra chairs/tables although almost all of it needed some additional cleaning before using. The interior of the home itself was clean and in good condition.
