Oakleaf Hideaway is a recently renovated cottage nestled in the trees on 20 private acres on top of Lookout Mountain. Featuring private walking trails, waterfalls and 2,000 feet of frontage on Straight Creek, the cottage is your perfect getaway to unwind and recharge. Located just 1.5 miles from the visitor's center at Desoto State Park, the cottage is close to everything including the restaurants of downtown Mentone, Little River Canyon, and shopping in Ft. Payne.

Mountain Lake Escape

This is a mother in law suite that is located right at the foot of Lookout Mountain and just in front of Weiss Lake. Here you are less than a mile from a public boat access. Minutes away from Cherokee Rock Village, Little River Canyon, Little River, Coosa River, and Neely Henry Lake. The suite sets just above our attached garage that you will have a parking space in to keep you out of the weather. It has its own door and is separate from the main house.

The guest house is your lake cottage home away from home. The house is directly on the water with access to dock your boat outside with ample bumpers at the boathouse on property. The location is right around the corner from City Park for loading and unloading and Goosepond Colony. The Oak Leaf Cottage, in the Fort Payne Alabama Historic District, served as the home for caretakers of The Oaks, its parent property, and a town icon, built-in 1884. The cottage features one-bedroom with an en-suite bath, soaking tub and shower, walk-in closet, LR, fireplace w/gas logs, kitchenette, and outside veranda.
