A lovely property for our whole family with plenty of space and activities to keep everyone happy. We’ll definitely be back - it was well worth the cost and the owners/carers are helpful and friendly. A great location in both sunny and wet weather conditions.

A beautiful home away from home. We found it very spacious & roomy. Large bedrooms & large main bathroom upstairs. Very well equipped kitchen for any cooking needs. The outdoor area was lovely with a pool & outdoor seating with nice established gardens very peaceful. Easy to access once we arrived & close to everything like a bakery, NW supermarket, Upper Hutt town centre etc. I would definitely recommend this house to any family it was fantastic & we had a really nice time there. Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and tidy, and the swimming pool was well-kept. The location is great for activities like cycling and fishing. The only issue was the door code didn’t work initially, but Airbnb provided a new one promptly.

Kelvin was a super host. One day the lockbox jammed. It was no problem as we had access the spare keys but even still, Kelvin immeditaely he replaced it! He also showed us around the amazing property like a real gentleman. Thanks Kelvin. It was peaceful, had everything we needed and is a very special property. I hope we can return in summer to experience the beautiful, naturally plant filtered swimming pool.

Staying at Georgia’s place was an absolute dream! Designed by the renowned Fritz Eisenhofer and his wife Helen, this curvaceous, dome-like home is an architectural masterpiece. It felt like living in a jewel box, where every detail radiates artistic sophistication and warmth. The luxurious decor and flowing spaces create an inviting and serene atmosphere. Pictures don’t do justice—you must experience this remarkable home to truly appreciate its beauty. Georgia is an exceptional host—kind, thoughtful, and beyond generous. Her excellent communication and the thoughtful koha (gifts) made us feel so welcome. The location is magical, with the beach just steps away and a lush pathway surrounded by vibrant plants and fauna. The greenery inside and outside added to the serene and tranquil vibe. The amenities are incredible: a stunning indoor pool, relaxing hot tub, kayaks, paddleboards, ping pong, air hockey, and more. What a fabulous find. We loved staying at this property and could have happily stayed longer. The property is well equipped, spacious, warm and cosy. Such an amazing property which was a great location for us to visit friends. Stunning views, comfortable beds and loads of space. Very well suited for two couples or a small family. Ample space in bedrooms for a byo travel cot. Rooms were a little cooler than the main house but only noticed as we had a young baby. Kitchen well stocked with utensils.

Enjoyed our stay here, with the most amazing view - the place and Lucy were very accommodating to my family and had all amenities needed. Everyone loved this house and didn’t want to leave. Lucy went above and beyond for us and responded straight away and made our stay even more special☺️ Would for sure recommend this place and rebook whenever we’re back in Wellington! A lovely town with a coastal and nature-filled vibe — very family-friendly. The host was wonderful and extremely helpful. The house is well-organized and comfortable for a family stay, including two bicycles available for guests to use. There are cute cafés around with a laid-back, holiday atmosphere.

Andreas place was amazing. My Mum and her friends had a lovely time. It was peaceful and quiet, stunning location, classic kiwi bach. Lovely little details, and extras. Andrea was responsive and helpful. Thanks, we will definitely be back.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighbourhood with a lovely view. Just a 4-minute drive to the local township, so super handy for getting around. We stayed for three nights and found the house immaculate — spacious bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, including a great ensuite. The place felt peaceful, even though the neighbours are fairly close. It was a great spot for a day trip to Wellington, and my husband enjoyed a round of golf at Waikanae Golf Course, just 10 minutes away. It was really good value for the price.

We were visiting family in Upper Hutt. We needed a home base for 3 people for a 16 night stay. Willem's accommodations were perfect with room to spare. Plenty of room for a large group. Easy check in and ability to come and go as we liked. We were traveling with our 81 year old father and it was perfect for us. There were 3 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 bathrooms, one with a wonderful shower and the other with a tub. Also the living spaces were very spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend Willem's home.

We had a wonderful time at Miriam’s Eco Lodge. The space is really lovely, private but close to beach and cafes. Miriam is a wonderful host - friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend and plan a return visit.

Staying at Chris’s Airbnb was a truly wonderful experience. The home was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at ease. Every detail felt thoughtful and welcoming — it was clear a lot of care had gone into making the space feel like a home away from home. But what made the stay truly memorable was Chris himself. From the beginning, his communication was warm, clear, and prompt. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. You can really tell when someone loves being a host — and Chris absolutely does. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re considering booking — do it. You’ll be in great hands and will leave with a smile. Thank you again, Chris — I look forward to returning someday!

As it is the coldest time of the year, it would have been nice to have electric blankets on the two double beds to air the beds. The bed linen felt very cold and damp. But in saying that the bed linen was fresh smelling.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the fire on crispy evenings. The house was beautifully presented and so well equipped for cooking and relaxing. The attention to detail in so many aspects really stood out for us.

We have stayed at this place on a couple of occasions. Not only is the view beautiful but a comfortable clean environment with comfortable beds and an excellent host. Highly recommend it to anyone.

So grateful to have found this place. Nothing better than sitting on the deck here and watching the world go by on the beach. The fireplace makes it a perfect winter stay. Thanks Jessica for being a wonderful host!
