Lake Away Your Worries

teresaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We booked our stay for a weekend at Raystown Lake. The house was in a great location for a quick drive and just down the street from access to Allegrippis trails. The house was exactly as described and pictured. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch swing in the peaceful quiet. Jennifer quickly and politely responded to all my questions. The heat is from a wall unit in the dining area so we learned to keep the bedroom doors open before bed so the temperature was comfortable at night. There were extra blankets if needed. It reminded me of the mountain house I visited as a kid that was heated by a wood stove.(no wood stove here). Kids enjoyed lounging on the sectional watching TV. We have t-mobile and did not have cell service in the house but got reception about 1/2 mile down the road. We were able to connect to the DSL and able to get texts that way. The house was clean and comfortable for our stay, and we would book again if in the area.

Creekside Cabin Vacation Rental

KaitlinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My friend and I had a great stay at Crystal’s cabin! She was very flexible and helped us shift our reservations twice. The cabin is tucked away off of a busy road but it’s so far back it feels entirely secluded. There are trails behind the house but it’s good to note that it is gaming land so be prepared if it’s hunting season or dress appropriately. Overall we loved our stay and hope to return next year!

Green Ridge Cottage

CynthiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We have stayed in an airbnb many times and this house was one of the most well cared for we have ever stayed in. The house was immaculate with little touches that made it a notch above most other homes. The neighborhood was safe, clean, and quiet. The commute to downtown Huntingdon was only a few minutes. We would highly recommend staying in this home whenever you are in Huntingdon.

Quiet Escape w/ Hot Tub, 5 Miles to Raystown Lake!

Linda BakerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Shari and Paul were attentive to any questions or needs that we had. It was a little cool outside but we loved the fire pit and the Hot Tub felt great. We had a nice area to visit with our family while we played Uno and Mexican Train! It had been a while since we had been away and the weekend was exactly what we all wanted.

Our stay was amazing! Host friendly, responsive and flexible. The house was great, nicely renovated, very clean and well stocked. Lots of entertainment options for kids and adults alike. Right off the freeway but felt private at the same time. Grocery and other stores 4 mins away.

Rural living near Raystown Lake & Hiking Trails

If you're looking for a place to get away to that is quiet, peaceful, and filled with natural beauty, this one will definitely do it! We visited in the spring, so everything was very lush and green with cool but pleasant weather. The house was as described with all the items we needed. Access was easy. We enjoyed the outdoor area and even did a barbeque one night in the back yard. Tabetha was a great host. Very prompt with her responses and always available if we needed. While the rental is on the same property as the hosts, we hardly knew they were there, unless we needed them. Verizon service was a little weak, but their Wifi worked great. Really enjoyed our stay Just some notes for the area (not the rental itself). Being in a secluded area, be prepared to travel a little to get to stores, cafes, etc., or do any major shopping before you arrive in the area. Also, we found many businesses and restaurants in the area stay closed on Sunday (even on memorial day weekend) so plan ahead.
