The accommodation consists of a double bedroom with French doors opening onto a nice big garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a small bathroom with walk-in shower. Broadband, TV, fridge, washing machine and drier are all included. It is about 50 yards from Egham station which has regular trains to London, the journey taking about 40 minutes. The train goes to Waterloo Station which is very close to the London Eye and Westminster, with Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Trafalgar Square a short walk away. Heathrow Airport is 5 or 6 miles away. Egham is a small town, but it has some historic interest in that the Magna Carta was signed at Runnymede down the road by the river in 1215. Not far away is Windsor castle and Eton (where princes William and Harry, and David Cameron went to school). There is also some lovely countryside around and lovely walks.

Next door is a beautiful restaurant & bar overlooking the boats. Close to Windsor Castle, the Long Walk & Ascot - this is my home, occasionally available when I'm away, much loved and full of character. It feels like someone lives there, because someone does.

A cosy modern ground floor 1 bed (sofa bed) within our lively family home, with all the basics including own en suite shower room /wc and TV. It is the perfect place for a short stay. There is a small counter to make drinks and small meals including mini fridge freezer and microwave oven. Alternatively if you are preparing a big meal you can use the family kitchen just text me in advance so i can unlock the door and remove our to friendly /energetic dogs. Guest are welcome to use the gas BBQ

Close transport links and the A40 is on the doorstep to explore Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds

The guest Suite is attached to the main property. There is an internal door separating the two, which is locked from both sides. Double aspect bedroom and living space with comfortable king sized bed. Private bathroom with shower cubicle. Well equipped kitchenette but no oven, with dining table, Private off road parking and property entrance. Located 6 minute drive to Newbury town and 1 minute walk to closest bus stop. 8 minute drive to Newbury Race course. 8 minute junction 13 M4.

Oakwoods, much built in Medieval times, has been lovingly restored by "Grand Designer (Ch 4)" - Monty. Great garden swing. There is a cinema room, minstrels gallery, grand piano, walk-on glass well, open fires, warm brickwork, low beams & panoramic views. Board games, darts and ping pong, plus yoga instructor (by appointment). All around are fields & forests, magical walks and wildlife. Extra guests possible, please ask. Car charging at 3kw is possible at cost.
