Guest are able to let themselves in as the apartment has coded entry. Access and contact details will be provided prior to arrival. Piha Beach Bungalow is 5 minutes walk to beach, 10 minutes walk to piha store, café, library, art gallery, tennis court and bowling club, It has 180 degree views of the ocean yet is secluded being tucked back into hill and sheltered from prevailing winds. It has easy street level access. Come and relax in our quintessential Kiwi surf bach, lounge on comfortable cushions under the pohutakawa trees and listen to the waves in the background and watch the sun set over the ocean.

Upstairs apartment is a large, 2-bedroom house, with spacious living room, tv room, private bathroom and full kitchen. The apartment has its own entrance and private back deck. Right on the beach, a large, light and airy living space (160sqm upstairs house). Backed by native bush with expansive views of the beach and sea/sunrises to the front. Matakatia is a tidal inner harbour beach with safe swimming in summer, and for the brave in winter.
