Nice location, quiet and safe with convenient train and bus connections to Manchester and Stockport city centre, and supermarket and cafe are within walking distance. There are small country parks in the nearby area if you need a bit of nature. Room’s clean and comfortable, and exactly as advertised. And Stephanie is really a great host! Very friendly and responsive to questions and requests. Highly recommend if you want to stay out of city centre!

Eva is one of the loveliest airbnb hosts I've experienced. Relaxed in herself and her home, she creates a really welcoming space to stay and is friendly and chatty, while respecting her own, and her visitors' space. Her garden is a relaxing sanctuary where I got to enjoy a coffee in the sun there on my last morning, and Minnie the dog is just adorable. Eva went out of her way to make me feel welcome, assure me of what I could use, and was very relaxed about my coming and going over 3 days. I highly recommend Eva and her home for a relaxed home-from-home stay. Helen

Lovely clean property, excellent host with prompt communication. This was exactly what we needed as a family of 5 visiting relatives. All the essentials were provided. Only problem we had was that the parking space was too small to fit our family car. Luckily neighbour was friendly and said we could park outside the front.

I stayed at Mark’s place while preparing for my PLAB2 exam, and it was truly an amazing experience. The accommodation itself was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and felt just like home. Mark went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. He provided an extra heater and a dehumidifier to keep me warm, baked a delicious cake for me, and even treated me to lunch once. He prepared two wonderful dinners as well, which made the festive season so special. Mark is an exceptional host who genuinely cares about his guests’ happiness. He’s a great listener, a kind advisor, and always ready to help. When I forgot my shoes, he even offered assistance! The bathroom and overall cleanliness of the place were impeccable. Mark also came in once to change the duvet, ensuring I was comfortable throughout my stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. Thank you, Mark, for making my stay so memorable!
