The Barn - Central Richmond with parking

In the heart of Richmond our two floor renovated barn makes a great base for touring the Yorkshire Dales. This relaxed space stands in a courtyard off the top of Frenchgate, one of the town's best-known ancient cobbled streets. It's a peaceful spot only a few minutes' walk from the market square with its shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Free parking (one car). We provide you with the basics to get you started (coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter etc). Towels, shampoo and bedding also provided.

Cozy one bedroom Cottage with log burner; located just down the hill from Richmond Market Place. One bedroom upstairs. Kitchen, diner and lounge are all the same area with a sofa bed on the ground floor. Underfloor heating downstairs. Bedding and towels are provided for guests. Plenty of walks directly from the cottage the river being just around the corner. The castle walk is 2 minutes away. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Richmond has everything you need for a fabulous break.

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

The Old School

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Wonderful walks and bike trails in the local area. Beautiful views over the fields and hills within the Dales National Park. This detached house is within the boundary of our own property so we are always on hand to help in any way we can to make your stay a wonderful experience. Within walking distance of the local village which has all the basic local amenities including a local history museum.
