Holiday rentals with a kayak in Rensselaer County

We had such a beautiful stay while attending the Berkshire Yoga Festival! The space was peaceful, clean, and offered everything we needed to relax and recharge after full days of movement, music, and magic at the mountain. The location was convenient to Jiminy Peak and nestled in such a quiet, serene area—perfect for our group to unwind. We look forward to coming again!

We had an amazing time and experience! Christine was very attentive and was able to provide us with some firewood to make our stay warm and cozy. The view was the best part. I loved how quiet, peaceful, and secluded we were in the woods. There is also a very nice trail nearby where we saw a ton of wildlife early in the morning like a beaver, a snake, and a couple blue herons. Overall it was a very fun time!

This was a great stay. We loved the lake front cabin, and we'd be happy to return in the future!

A lovely home and great place to stay....

Christie was a great host. We needed to reach out to her while we were there, and she responded immediately. It was a cold evening, and we enjoyed sitting around the fire. The master bed was very comfortable!

We absolutely loved our stay! So much so that we already booked another stay in a different cabin just a few days from now. The entire property is gorgeous and so, so peaceful. Even with quite a bit of rain, everything was great thanks to how awesome Christine was! We are very grateful for her hospitality and how responsive she was with the flooding and minor plumbing issue it caused. Not sure other Hosts would be as willing as she was to fix the issue so quickly. It was very much appreciated. Can't wait to be back!

So far I've stayed at Christine's cabins 3 times and will definitely be back. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is pristine, extra amenities are provided and she's very responsive. This is my escape away from home and I love all the cabins. I plan on trying a new one next time! Highly recommend!

Hi Wendy, Aside from the surprise of the steep driveway, your place was fantastic. The drive way was ok once you did it a few times but I suspect it is not available in winter. The house is cozy and really nice. I left a message in your log book also. If you have not had the chance to see Eastfield Village, it is only a few miles from you and really a nice place to visit. We were very happy with our stay! The house is well kept, with lots to do and comfortably private.

Cabin is private, easily reachable, by the river, and has beautiful views. The hosts really go an extra mile to make this feel incredible. If you're looking for a cute spacious rustic getaway, this is the spot. It is rustic so make sure to bring drinking water, if you'd like to cook perhaps a water filter. Christine is great, will definitely try to stay here again soon.

June Farms is an amazing place! My kids (8 and 4) said it was their favorite vacation. The location is beautiful, private, and stocked with everything you need. The lake is incredible and the house is just like the pictures - very comfortable, relaxing, and easy. This was the perfect location for a family get together and hang by the lake. Even in the pouring rain - it was perfect. What really set this apart was the extras - the kayaks, paddleboards, stocked kitchen (utensils, condiments, EVERYTHING you need!), June-farms gifts (soaps, matches, wood, etc), available platters (we bought the charcuterie and fruit platters - both delicious and well worth the money), and the responsiveness of the hosts! They were always available, friendly, easy going - just all around excellent hosts! We will definitely be back - I can’t say enough great stuff about this spot! Thank you

This was exactly what we needed. We felt so comfortable and at home from the very beginning. Christine is also fantastic. She was extremely responsive , attentive, and friendly. We never actually met face to face, but we still feel like she is a friend. We will definitely stay at her place whenever we need a place in the area. We may even come back to the area just to stay at her place. I can’t imagine staying somewhere more relaxing. We fell in love with the area and the cabin. Thank you so much.

This home was SO cool and unique. So many special little parts of this space. It's pretty magical, secluded and we kept looking around thinking how awesome it was. It was a simple check in, nice and clean, and a short little walk to the beach. Babcock Lake is no doubt a special place. Igor is an excellent host! Thanks for everything. Definitely will be back and recommend to a friend!
