House holiday rentals in Retournac

We stayed at this beautiful house from August 7 to 17. After a warm welcome we discovered this superb tastefully renovated home. (Special mention for the sublime framework). From the terrace the views are magical. Luc and Florianne are discreet hosts and always available. The area is very beautiful and there is a lot to do and discover within a 30-minute drive. Thanks again to Luc and Florianne for their kindness. Thanks to you we had a great stay.

Had a wonderful time. Excellent base for outdoor activities. Beautiful walks, adventurous canoe trip, wonderful with the racing bike out there. The cottage is spacious with a nice complete kitchen. Nice terrace with swimming pool and beautiful spacious view. The only thing we had missed is that the double bed is at a height and was a little too small for me (1.90). The two single beds were a bit longer so no problem. Highly recommended

Enjoy your stay with friends. Make good use of Waze for the route. 😄 A place conducive to calm and rest. Walks and hikes nearby (be careful, it's uphill!!!) Multiple games planned on site (petanque, darts, foosball, ping pong, etc.). Nordic bath and sauna very popular. Very spacious dining room and meals... Comfortable bedding, although some beds could be a little firmer 😊

The accommodation was perfectly suited to our family reunion. We enjoyed the decor and the charming garden, the little ones loved the animals. Friendly welcome, Barbara and Philippe are helpful, available and full of attention. We'll be happy to go back!

Perfect stay! The house is super beautifully done and tastefully decorated. The garden is a true oasis with incredible flowers and trees. It was the perfect spot for us to visit family and work from remotely. We travelled with our 3 month old and it was seamless.

We stayed in Frederique's cottage for two nights. It was very clean with an abundance of little extras to make our stay homely. Frederique was very welcoming to us and our border collie dog. The surroundings were very peaceful in a glorious setting with fabulous views.

Impeccable, comfortable, quiet accommodation, ideal for spending a few days with a family away from the noise of the city. Very well communicated and easily accessible, which favored the visit of the surroundings. Florence was very friendly and helpful at all times, making our stay unforgettable. If we return to the area, we will repeat for sure.

The walk in the forest behind is not easy at all and you have to take the fork just before the one indicated by the GPS in order to get to the car spot. Apart from these 2 points of attention, everything was so sweet and so cute! A very pleasant house to live in.

We hadn't taken into account that it was indicated in the listing that the accommodation was below a departmental road, so when we arrived we were a little afraid that it would be too noisy but in the end it's not very busy during the day and it's really quiet when you arrive in the evening so more fear than harm! 🙂 The accommodation is cute, the view is pretty, there is no radiator (except the towel dryer in the bathroom) so you have to remember to turn on the stove before it gets too cool because it takes a while to heat up. Nice hikes not very far away (the best was from Valcivières: colporteur des jasseries). And a nice flea market in Saint Sauveur les Sagnes and also the flea market of the Divine Mix in Ambert.

Frédéric's accommodation perfectly met our expectations and is very well equipped. We recommend it.

Incredible and passionate hosts. We had a great weekend with friends, in a magical setting. Great for disconnecting and relaxing. The house is a mix of modernity and old, the park is huge and the children spent the 4 days walking around the property between visits and parks around. We didn't have time to get bored and we fully recommend this place and these hosts for a great time with family or friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Yssingeaux. The house is a real cocoon full of charm and decorated with love. The evenings by the fire after a day of walking were magical. The house is perfectly equipped , the bedding is very comfortable , everything is in every detail. A beautiful house, an idyllic setting, walks to recharge with our children and our dog . Yssingeaux and its surroundings are full of wonders to discover, a total change of scenery. Justine and Arnaud welcomed us warmly and guided us for the walks . We highly recommend this place and will be back soon .

Great accommodation, there is everything you need, very spacious and the bedding is very good. Quiet house in the middle of beautiful nature, this place is really worth a visit with very welcoming hosts!
