Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Reykjanesbær

Bryndis and her family were wonderful hosts the place was close to some restaurants and the water. It is located in a peaceful section of Reykjavik and a great home base for activities around the capital. It is clean, spacious and the hosts were very responsive.

Wonderful location, just away from the "bustle" of Reykjavík, but only about 5-10 minutes drive away (and Reykjavík has plenty of parking). There's a bus not too far if you don't want to worry about drivint too! The nature reserve in the backyard is amazing, allowing pleasant walks along the paths, lake, and to the lighthouse. All the rooms are nice sized and made for an excellent place to come home to for relaxation, or cooking a meal if that's your thing (although the food in Reykjavík was fantastic).

We arrived from the US at 9pm with two young children and it was great to have a place next to the airport. We bought some food at the airport and at a grocery store on the way to the house and by 10:30 we were having dinner. The place is very nice, very clean and comfortable. We are grateful that Kristinn provides basic needs like soap, shampoo, detergent, cooking oil. Many Airbnbs do not and it is very uncomfortable that the first thing you have to do when you arrive to a vacation place is to go to the store to buy these basic items. She was also flexible about a few things during our stay which we greatly appreciated it. We went for a run early morning and the surroundings are beautiful. She provided very clear information about how settle in her place. Thank you very much Kristine, you are a very thoughtful host, and your place is lovely!!

Great place to say with one of the best check-in and checkout times of any Airbnb I've stayed in. Check-in starts at 8am and checkout is 6pm. And given it's only 5 minutes from the airport, anyone would understand that an early check-in is a must. The house has two floors with the primary (upper) floor that includes the dining area and kitchen and den/living room area with a tv. Downstairs includes two bedrooms and a storage/laundry room which includes a washer. Both bedrooms have their own television. The internet is blazingly fast with 600mpbs down and 500mpbs up. The home is centrally located with Keflavik so it's very walkable. The home is also located right across the street from a Bonus Supermarket. In fact, when looking for the home, I would probably navigate to the Bonus at "Túngata 1" rather than the address of the Airbnb. Reason being is the smaller roads that leads up to the home are blocked off and apparently none of the navigation maps know this.

If you compare it to other Airbnb this is one of the cheapest accomodations. It’s close to the airport. It’s self check in. It looks brand new. Everything is clean. I would recommend it and come back!

What a gorgeous place in a brilliant location. We were greeted by the northern lights as we arrived and the views over Reykjavík are amazing. The house had everything we needed for 9 people including 3 children. The washing machine was very useful and the space to dry all our boots and coats was great after a day of waterfall hunting. Would definitely stay again. Marianne was a great host.

Anna worked well to accommodate the changes needed given the closing of the town and took great care of us.

Mega nice place to stay. A lot of space. Everyone had their own angle. Close to shops and stations. We'd love to come back someday.

Ryan knows how to run an Air B&B. Good communication. Home was clean and well organized. He had a typed out booklet with clear instructions, recommendations for eating and sightseeing. Very easy checkout process- no extra cleaning requirements. Highly recommended and would come back.

Appreciate the last minute booking after another host cancelled on us. Location great to restaurants and the airport. A few repairs needed but did not impact us.

From the airport 10 minutes by car, the flat is ideal for the first accommodation in the evening, yet quiet. We had everything we needed there and it was just 300 metres on foot to a small, well-stocked supermarket

Fabulous apartment with very easy access from airport. Comfy seats with the best view, close to shops & restaurants. We stayed for our first couple of nights in Iceland & was the perfect base to explore. Thank you!

Solid vehicle, super comfortable and warm. A GREAT way to see Iceland if you only have 24hrs! If you are coming from Canada, be prepared for insane gas prices…More than $300 to fill the tank.

Elva is a gracious host! We were so happy to find her place, as we needed easy access to the airport for an early morning flight. It was just perfect for our needs and felt very much like home. We especially appreciated how welcoming and lovely Elva is :)
