The approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, which is located at almost 700 meters above sea level, was partially renovated in 2019. The rustic base was skillfully combined with modern elements. The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome. The house impresses with a spacious swing which is kept very close to nature. For children, there are various play options in and around the house.

Relax and unwind in the 200 year old historic gardener's cottage. Idyllically located on the edge of the forest and within walking distance to the village center. Ideal for 2 adults. Lovely garden , fireplace for cozy evenings, breakfast possible by arrangement ( extra charge) , electric charging station according to local rate available. Suitable for 2 adults and two children from 6 years ( on request). Unfortunately, the furnishings are not suitable for children.

On about 65 m² you will find a retreat away from the hustle and bustle – ideal for couples, families with children or travelers looking for relaxation. The windows let in plenty of natural light and open a soothing view of the private garden. Depending on the weather, you can enjoy the weather outside while grilling or inside the warmth of the massive soapstone oven.

In the Hüsli, an original Appenzell farmhouse (with empty annex), you will enjoy a unique view over the Rhine Valley to the Austrian mountains. The cottage is quietly located in nature, perfect for relaxing, hiking or biking, but still easily accessible by car, the Appenzeller train is about a 15-minute walk (pick-up service for arrival and departure possible).

Large house with plenty of space

The house part has 3 bedrooms with a total of 4 single beds, one double bed. 2 sofa beds for two people each 3 baby beds and in addition a small mattress storage in the open screed. The small, modern kitchen is located in the lower area. The game room is right next door. Outside in the seating area there is a grill and a fire pit where cozy evenings are spent.
