Houseboat holiday rentals in Rhine River

We stayed as a family in the first week of three in the Zander and four in the second week in Lorenzo. Unfortunately, we always had to get out in the dark in the morning and came back in the dark in the evening, so we didn't get to know much of the great atmosphere on the small Rhine arm. You just have to be aware that you are on a boat and not in a hotel - equipment and logistics is therefore a bit difficult - especially large travel suitcases are difficult to get on the boat. However, I am always enthusiastic about how much living feeling you get in such a small room (especially in the zander) and under the conditions. Unfortunately, the pictures of interior design (zander) and location (Lorenzo and zander) are no longer up to date - Zander was photographed somewhere else and there are now also much more boats at the dock of Lorenzo.

Perfect for unplugging!! The "cabins" are all individually in the forest as a treehouse or floating on the water. The accommodation is simple but of high-quality construction. In our cabin on the lake, we had a Scandinavian SPA (warm water, perfect for colder seasons) with a view of the lake - fantastic! Breakfast is brought to the cabin in the morning in the morning and fulfills its purpose perfectly. For showering, you go to the main building, where large modern shower cubicles await. We were able to finish our excursion with a walk around the lake and a short boat trip (good opportunity for a picnic on the water). The staff is super prepared and extremely helpful!

A moment of happiness spent in this unique place. The host is very kind and helpful. The village is very nice with one of the best bakeries… there are plenty of restaurants around and Strasbourg is very close. I'll come back without hesitation! See you soon

We visited for one night and the scenery was amazing. The studio was complete with air-con for hot days! The toilet is just outside and next to the entrance door.

Mega houseboat. Great amenities. Even in rainy weather very nice and cozy. The water in the lake has been pleasantly warm for the year so far. Bathroom & toilet separate, two coffee machines (one fully automatic machine and one for filter coffee). My children and I liked it very much and we will be happy to come back!

Our stay on the houseboat was very nice. The boat was clean and modernly furnished and well equipped. The lake view from the terrace is amazing. Two notes: It would be nice if the listing said that the photos are only exemplary of one of the boats and the space could look different. But I liked the decor of our boat even better. Then we searched a little longer for the check in, as the swimming cafe was not recognizable to us as such. That would be good to know All in all, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed it very much.

We had a wonderful weekend on the houseboat. The decor is very pretty and functional and the location invites you to diverse hikes in the surrounding vineyards. Nice restaurants can be reached in a few minutes by car. Check-in was smooth and a few minutes after arrival the "holiday mode" was activated. Thank you for everything, we would come back anytime!

What a wonderful stay we had. Get away from it all together. Just where we needed. The stay has everything and more that someone could ask for. Patricia is incredibly hospitable, flexible and helpful. Extra tip: a float session that you can book at a discount

Great experience, we can definitely recommend it for workations! The Wifi is stable and effortlessly enabled 3 hours of video calls. Mobile calls also went smoothly and without problems. Our highlight of the boat was the rooftop lounge area where we enjoyed some sundown-cocktails while watching the light change over the vineyards in the hills. The views are stunning, would visit again!

We felt very comfortable and everything you needed was there. The houseboat is lovingly furnished and clean. The surroundings are very nice and you can do a lot. The possibility of using the SUP was particularly great. The houseboat is located on a jetty between a few other houseboats. The view is fantastic, but you don't have it all to yourself. But where do you get that? All in all, we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much for that.

We had a very nice stay. We were allowed to use the small boats on the side of the houseboat for a small fee and that was great! Wonderful stay and very thoughtful space and accommodation concept. Great for cycling, jogging around the lake, walking. Very tasty good friendly Greek restaurant within walking distance. Thank you

Uli is a great host who immediately makes you feel welcome. Without hustle and very sympathetic, everything necessary is explained and answered questions. Emma is a true retreat, very cozy and lovingly designed. Views of the Frankfurt skyline from the sun deck are spectacular, especially in the evening. Nearby you will find cafes and restaurants and everything you need for everyday life. I highly recommend Emma to those looking for something special away from the usual trails.

Great location - the houseboat is totally great. Milan is easy to reach- check-in and check-out was easy. Easy to reach downtown through the Saar complexes. Local and very good baker nearby. Even the weather was perfect that weekend.

We had a great stay on the house boat. The location is quiet and peaceful with lots of birds and wildlife right outside your windows. You can go for nice walks in wooded areas close by as well as into the town. The Houseboat is cosy and well thought through. It is a multifunctional space, so can be used as a home or workspace so keep this in mind. For us this was fine as we only spent two nights on the houseboat. As it is a multifunctional space a couple of compromises were made: small kitchen (two burner gas hob and no oven) and a not so comfortable sofa (it is more of a bench at the table to eat meals or have a meeting). We had no problem with this as we came prepared (planned meals) and made our own comfortable seating space out of chairs, cushions and footrests. All in all we had a great time and a fun experience, we would recommend it highly!! And a big thanks to Dorothee and Jill who were both very kind!

🌟 5 stars - unforgettable stay on the Mosel Glück houseboat! 🌟 We had a wonderful stay on the houseboat! The boat was superbly equipped, very clean and furnished with great attention to detail. We especially liked the cozy sun deck with a glass of wine🍷. The furnishings and equipment are not only good, but top-notch. It was the best equipped holiday accommodation I have ever had👌. The hosts Susanne and Friedrich were super friendly, helpful with questions and gave us some tips for the area. The communication in advance was also super nice. Everything worked smoothly – from arrival to departure. We can absolutely recommend the houseboat, whether for a short trip or a longer vacation. It is definitely very relaxing. Thank you for the great time!

I had a break on my own and the floating camper was just perfect for that. Inside everything was well equipped and clean and outside you could relax and enjoy the view of the Mosel and the vineyards. Perfect to unplug and forget about the stressful everyday life. Michael already sent detailed instructions about the camper before check-in and explained some details on arrival in a phone call. All in all a lovely stay with breathtaking views.
