Come relax & enjoy country living in style at La Casa de Vaca. With 4 bedrooms so your family can rest well & an open kitchen, dining, & living room to enjoy life together, we hope to provide a peaceful stay. Have dinner on the patio while watching the sunset over the pasture, snuggle by the fireplace, or kick back in the theater streaming your favorite movies. We're also only 45 minutes from Ft. Worth. So, adventures like the Zoo, Texas Motor Speedway, & Stockyards are close by.

No place like Rhome

Enjoy a quiet getaway in the country! A great place to relax after an event at Texas Motor Speedway or a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Hear the roosters in the morning and see a beautiful sunset from the porch in the evening. There really is "No Place Like Rhome!" Meals available by request! 8.00 a plate. Most meals are made from scratch using high quality ingredients. Often it's home style cooking but not limited to smoked foods, mexican and more.

Ranch House Suite Nestled Behind Old Mill in Rhome

My wife, Kelly, and I are proud to own (and co-host) this charming, spacious property that we just completely renovated in 2025. In the old grain house behind the old mill, “The Ranch House Suite,” one of two separate suites (in a building similar to a duplex), has a big living room, a spacious bedroom (with mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig), and a large office space. Two people can sleep in the queen size bed and two others can sleep on our queen auto inflate air mattress.

Tiny House with Firepit, Grill, and 3.5 Acre Pond

Whether you’re wanting to try out tiny house living, here for a wedding, or just looking to get away from the city our Tiny Pearl is the perfect Paradise getaway! The tiny house is located at the back of our property nestled in the trees and faces toward the 148 acres behind us so you will have total privacy. Cruise down the backroads while you pass through all the fields of green and tons of beautiful land full of wildlife! Come experience country living in a tiny house!

Airstrip Cabin

Our airstrip cabin is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Come watch airplanes perform fly-bys or enjoy the peacefully quiet starlit night. Our cabin features hangar space, making it an ideal space for any airplane enthusiast. Being only 15 minutes away from Decatur and 35 minutes from Fort Worth, visiting NRS, the Stockyards and/or NASCAR Race Track is easy. ***Hangar space limited. Must confirm before booking to ensure space.

Country Retreat!

Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Come to newly remodeled Ash Creek Cottage and enjoy the country lifestyle. Nestled in a pecan tree grove next to a seasonal Ash creek, come to relax, enjoy the outdoors, watch for deer, birds, and other sights and sounds of the country. We are close to multiple wedding venues and wineries and about 30 minutes from Ft. Worth, and 30 minutes from Weatherford, Texas. We invite you to visit our cozy cottage!

The Farmhouse- relax in country!

The Farmhouse is a two bedroom rustic home with updated amenities. It has a living room, large country kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms-both with queen beds and one bath. There is a large covered deck with a chiminea for chilly days or evenings while waiting for deer and wildlife sightings. There is also a rustic party barn with cozy lighting and a fire pit. There are plenty of sunny spots or shady places to just hang out and enjoy the fresh air.

Dreamy Views

This home is on 20 acres with neighboring lots being 300 acres, 21 acres, & 36 acres. Home is on peak which allows for awesome views for miles. The deer feeder allows for viewing of deer on some mornings and evenings. The pond will be fully filled and stocked soon. Groomed walking trail allows access to to the 20 acres. Cornhole & grill available. Owners are on neighboring 21 acre lot & always available if needed.
