The only bad thing I can say about the place is the bad luck we had over time. Despite that, we felt very comfortable. The house even has a tap outside with well water that is delicious. David was very kind. He left us some drinks and sweets from the area. He welcomed us and showed us the house in addition to giving us local recommendations. We even phoned if we were cold. We recommend the bread that the baker brings to the doorstep on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The house is as described in the listing. The town is very quiet and very pretty. We were able to take a walk in a time that didn't rain and the people of the village were very accommodating. As Pontes is very close by car. It takes less than 15 minutes and there are supermarkets, restaurants, many places of interest, pharmacies, and health center. Definitely a place to repeat and try to enjoy when the weather is good.

We stayed a month in April 2025. Angel greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the place. Later on he provided us with useful recommendations for places to see, and restaurants. Angel's mother who lives in a separate building within the perimeter of the gardens was lovely and welcoming, and became a second mother to our Golden Retriever. We loved the location, just a few minutes drive to numerous fantastic beaches, or into Valdovino town where there are a few good bars and restaurants. Ferrol (bigger town) with everything you need is only 15-20 mins away. Great location for exploring along the coast, or to Santiago/Lugo/A Caruna for day trips. We will plan to come back if we can.

We had a wonderful stay in Loreto's apartment in Sada. She personally welcomed us on our day of arrival (how often does that happen?) and we immediately felt at home in her cozy, quiet and tastefully decorated apartment with a great free view! It is an excellent base for A Coruna and a visit to the Costa de Morte. Large supermarket and all kinds of fish restaurants within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable. If we go to this area again, we would definitely like to rent this apartment again.
