We spent 2 nights there in June. Edite is a lovely and friendly woman. The accommodation offers a magnificent view! and we slept very well there.

Lovely stay, even lovelier host. Super friendly and responsive, and even sent a list of local recommendations for everything one could possibly need during a holiday. Would love to come back as it was such a special home and held spectacular views. Gorgeous vibes 🫶🏻🙏🏻

This is a beautiful and quiet place. The house was spacious and comfortable and I could feel the host's touches everywhere. Above all, during a large power outage, Lydia said that she was worried about our safety and came to us. Even though we couldn't meet because we were out and about, that alone was a great comfort for us who were embarrassed. Thanks to you, I had a good stay.

Very good host! She welcomed us with a lot of information and good recommendations for restaurants and visiting Lisbon. The cleaning was impeccable. However, there was a smell of dampness present. Maybe just the concrete buildings that cause this, as we are not used to this smell in Quebec. The small intimate corner is inviting! Thank you Annabella for your warm welcome!

Although short, we enjoyed our stay, the house corresponded to the description, located in a pleasant space and close to main areas such as Mafra and Ericeira. We recommend it.

Cozy and comfortable. This place was perfect for our needs. Anabela was a great host! Be prepared for some narrow streets in the neighborhood but we got used to them pretty quick. Be sure to walk around Penedo at sunset - beautiful!

Very charming, comfortable and homely house with easy access to Sao Martinho and Navaré. Very tasteful inside. Everything you need is there as the owners clearly stay there themselves.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

Mario and his place were fantastic!! The location was great, with easy access to the sights and the metro. Mario was super helpful and responsive. Absolutely loved my stay at his place. Would definitely stay there again!!

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

The villa was amazing - beautiful location, spacious, very clean, modern, well equipped and well kept pool and grounds. We were a group of three couples and all enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and views of the vineyards. The villa exceeded our expectations and we'd love to return in the future. Lina provided a very warm welcome and was helpful in answering any queries we had before our stay. Thank you very much, Lina!

Elsa is a wonderful Host, just like her incredible villa. From the reservation, through the arrival to our departure, we were accompanied with kindness and benevolence throughout this experience. The house is ideal for hosting a large family, or groups. We had an extraordinary stay, in complete privacy, in this vast and comfortable place. This is a magical place and we are very thankfull that we could make it our home for a long weekend. It was beautiful from the inside and the outside. With cosy corners to sit and read by yourself, or nice bigger tables to eat or chat with the whole group together. The pool, the view, it is even more breath taking then on the pictures. Lovely to meet Jose and his wife who checked us in. House and pics as described. Clean and tidy. Bed linen and towels all crisp and clean. House has everything you need. Secure parking and safe for doggy. Lovely quiet location at the top of the village, fantastic sunsets. 5 mins by car to the beach and big supermarkets.... all you could ask for Pool a bit cold this time of year, only got my toes in, but can imagine its beautifully positioned for summer days.

Claire and James are the definition of perfect hosts. Extremely helpful, nice and welcoming. They made us feel right at home. It is a very nice living space, complete with all necessary amenities, plus hot showers, an extra large bed and a well-equipped kitchen - and the wall mounted smart TV was most welcome! This was our favourite place we have stayed. Our dog's too!

We loved the stay here, calm and having the sea just right in front of the terrace, a stunning view!

The entry process to the accommodation was delayed longer than expected. The rest overall went well, spacious living room and attached kitchen very comfortable, as was the beds. The wifi worked very well and with 3 bathrooms in the house everything was more practical when the group is large. The garage is small and hardly fits a compact car.

Great place to stay at, very clean house.

We stayed at Casa Rosaria for a week and really enjoyed it. We used it as a base to explore the region and many places of interest were 30-40 minutes away in various different directions. The renovation was beautifully done and the space looks like it's straight out of the pages of a design magazine. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked with everything we needed. Sarah and Steve were friendly and knowledgeable hosts and we highly recommend Casa Rosaria at Chumbaria.

Perfect! We loved the house and the area. Easy check-in and check-out, and the house had everything we needed. Rita and her husband brought firewood to use for the fireplace which made our stay extra comfortable. Definitely recommend

Perfect accommodation for a stay in Portugal (1 hour from Lisbon and 1 hour from Nazaré). Very clean and very well-equipped accommodation. Maria is a pleasant and understanding host (late arrival due to a flight delay). Very good communication. We recommend this listing.
