We had a fantastic time in Porto and would highly recommend this place for any couple looking to be centrally located and yet somehow just above the crowds and noise. A short walk and everything is available including many places to eat and shop. We walked to the river within 20 minutes and were about 10 minutes from the metro. We contacted Maria Joao about a couple of small things and she responded immediately to our complete satisfaction. We would readily book this again.

Excellent location. The area is quite lively on the weekend, with the weeknights a little more quiet. Loved having breakfast right down stairs in the morning. Looking out at the irega del carmo in the evening made for an unforgettable experience.

We absolutely loved our stay in Porto! The apartment was lovely - exactly like the photos, and very clean. Location was perfect, peaceful but still had loads of places for food an drink nearby, but also just a short walk to the centre. Communication was great - host was super responsive to any queries. Would 100% recommend!

Amazing location, super clean apartment, stellar view of the river and bridge, friendly and extremely helpful staff always available. The only downside of being so central: the noise of the street, the train and the crowd can interfere with a good sleep. I would go again anytime.

One can not imagine being in a better place that ruby charm. We had a great time, it was the right distance to move to the historical center, close to the subway and buses lines. The apartment was very clean, and with plenty of intentions to welcome you. Thank you very much maria and manuel, we will be definitely coming back

An ideal accommodation to see the most touristy areas of Porto because you can get everywhere on foot. Francisco is also a great host, attentive before arrival, and he offers recommendations and several additional services (we used the parking space and it was a success without a doubt). We were also able to bring our dog, because she was allowed in the accommodation, and it was fantastic.

Perfect location for a exploring Porto on foot. Nice, clean apartment in a well maintained old building. Just be aware of the stairs, not ideal if you’re not very mobile. Overall highly recommend with easy check-in/out and responsive communication from host

My husband and I stayed here for several nights. The location was one of our favorite things about this place. It’s a very convenient location being within walking distance to a lot of things. It was very quiet as well. We slept well as the blinds on the windows allowed us to get the place very dark at night which is a must for me especially. The majority of the living space is very spacious so we didn’t feel crowded. The bathroom is on the smaller side but it has everything and the shower was quite large which was appreciated. The are a few minor things that could use some fixing up but that was not a big deal for us. Overall we really enjoyed our time here.

The accommodation was consistent with the photos, and it was clean and spacious! It's in a good location and there's a gas station nearby. Hot water came out well and Wi-Fi was fast. The host's wife greeted us, and she was so kind. They also told me about public transportation, and everything was perfect at the accommodation. I highly recommend it. 👍🏻

This is a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. You can tell the hosts have really put a lot of thought and effort into making a usable space. The second bathroom is very small and the sink is in the hallway but it's trade-off that's worth it for the other space in the apartment and for the constraint of a historic building. The rooms are well designed and comfortable, we enjoyed the terrace in the evening. There is a very nice laundry room for use by the three units in the building including separate washer and dryer, ironing board, air drying. The communication was top notch. We have already recommended this Airbnb to visiting family members.

We arrived early. When we got there, Luz was extremely kind and generous with her time. She walked with us to the apartment, went over the map of Porto, and gave excellent recommendations. This was well beyond what I have ever experienced in an air BnB. The responsiveness of the hosts (24/7) was also quick and helpful. The hospitality company that runs this apartment has clearly established a great culture. The apartment was an easy walk to almost everywhere. It didn't feel touristy. The views from the balcony were spectacular.

Susan was an excellent host and very communicative! Her home was so beautiful, clean, and comfy. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto :)

close to one of the main station. places to see are within walking distance. easy to get to and hosts/admin are very helpful and responsive which is a huge help.

We had a lovely stay at José's place. the location is perfect for visiting Porto. The accommodation is functional and perfect for two people. We really enjoyed the terrace. And the parking space allows you to leave the car and do everything on foot. Thanks to José for hosting us and for being available

It was a very nice apartment, really close to the centre, extremely friendly and helpful host Maria, who was always in touch, responded to every query and has made my stay very comfortable. I really felt liked home. Highly recommend!

If I can give it more than five stars I would do so. Alexander is one of the best hosts I have ever met. I would be back again when I visit Porto.

The stay was great! Iremita is an excellent host, she is very attentive to anything you need during your stay and gives good recommendations of places to visit and about the subway. The place is just like the photos and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking and everything is clean. It is close to the D line of the subway, Vila d'Este station, to get to Porto. I highly recommend it, I hope to be able to return on another occasion, I am very happy.
