Our family's stay at Sunrise - Casa Sao Joao was absolutely perfect, and we highly recommend! The location is ideal for exploring Angra - steps away from restaurants, shopping, with a view to the harbor from the Juliet balconies! The apartment felt larger than pictured - very spacious for our five family members, updated decor and very clean. We loved eating breakfast on the large patio each morning and relaxing outside after a busy day exploring beautiful Terciera! Elsa was extremely helpful - meeting us at the apt when we arrived and answering any questions we had. We were also provided lots of detailed information on things to do and see prior to our arrival which we really appreciated. The apartment was a centrally located home base for our many explorations around the island, and we had a wonderful stay thanks to the very attentive and prepared owner and host! We would love to stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at Thomas's place. It was clean, modern, and impeccably decorated. The comfy bed, clean sheets, and nice towels were all appreciated touches, and having a full-sized fridge was incredibly convenient. One of the highlights was definitely the outdoor patio, which provided a lovely spot to relax with coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. There was some construction noise from next door starting around 8–9 AM, but it wasn’t an issue for us since we were usually heading out around that time anyway. FYI, the washer/dryer is communal between two units. During our visit, it seemed like we were the only guests using it, but if both units are occupied, you might need to coordinate usage. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Thomas's place!

Getting to Francisco’s place is a little tricky but he (or his friend Cordeiro) meets you and guides you there so it all works out. And once you’re there it can be hard to leave because it is so relaxing and the view is so fantastic. We had every we needed and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If you can book this place - do it!

I was so happy with this apartment. It was beautiful! The inside looked just like the pictures and the back area was better than I imagined. The location was great. There was plenty of parking nearby so my rental car was readily available. There were 2 days I just walked around Angra because there was so much to see and do. Eugenia met me at the apartment and gave me all of the information I needed. I had to leave early for my flight and the check out procedures were very clear. I could not be happier with my choice to stay here. It added to my whole experience.
