Holiday rentals with lake access in Richland-Chambers Reservoir

Our home unfortunately flooded and I was completely distraught since my husband was out of town. I reached out to this place on the lake to see if we could stay that same night since our home was being torn apart. Danelle responded right away and we were able to check in within a couple hours of booking. What a relief! We booked 4 nights since that was what was available. Then, when their weekend booking canceled, she reached out to me immediately and offered for us to stay through the weekend. We very much needed that since our home was still being worked on. The home had everything we could possibly need including things we didn’t need but it was nice to have (sonic ice? Heck yes!). The lake was exactly what we needed after all we had been through. The kids loved the kayaks and jumping off the docks! The roof deck was perfect for laying out in the sun. We had all the beach towels we needed and the couch was super comfy. We couldn’t be more grateful for Buffalo Inn. 10/1

Ruby is an amazing host and our stay at her property was outstanding. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was great and well stocked. We spent most of our time on the patio. It's so peaceful and relaxing! The hot tub is great and the projector works great. Ruby is very responsive to messages and made sure we were happy with our stay. We'll definitely be back!!!

Alberto was very friendly and responded quickly to question. The accommodations were very nice. Beautiful and well supplied with what we needed. Spotless!

Enjoyed our stay even though our trip was cut short due to weather issues. Joel was extremely attentive and helpful through everything. Had such a good time fishing off the dock, and the movie/game room area was a really nice touch. Would love to stay here again and experience some of the things we didn’t get to fully do with our time there. Highly recommend!

Our stay was heaven. This was the most peaceful vacation I have ever taken AND we have five kids. 😂 I could not have imagined a better place. Our hosts were super responsive to any questions and the house/location was a dream. Would recommend 10/10!

Great place to stay boat slip was available for use while we stayed there. They even stopped by while out on the lake to make sure everything was working with the lift. Great place to stay and relax.

One of the best! The location for this rental is private and tranquil, and the cabin itself is comfortable and remarkably well-appointed. The kitchen has everything you need to make any meal, including a well-stocked spice cabinet and glass storage vessels. The house is newly constructed, and the owners’ expressed focus on the Swedish lagom-lifestyle is evident throughout the space. The entire back of the house is glass, overlooking the canal and a lovely, fenced area with contemporary paved squares providing a stylish and usable sitting area. After an afternoon of paddle-boarding and lounging on the float pad, we spent one night around the firepit which, like everything else, is practically designed and constructed. This is a great rental for a family!

Great Airbnb!! It was super cozy, lake was beautiful, private and safe. We were pulling up to the area and neighbors were waving at us, Kelley was super nice too, bed was comfy, kitchen had enough supplies but I wouldn’t recommend to cook anything too elaborate due to the space. We tried to cook some pasta but smoke detector would beep every time we’d open the oven so don’t get scared. Also, make sure you buy enough water, food and anything that you might need since closest town is Corsicana about 20 minutes away and you can easily go to the HEB or Dollar Store over there. Washer and dryer were on point and useful. Very clean, bathroom was big enough! Sunset was beautiful. It’s a really nice place to stay away from the city for couple days and detox! Clay's place was great for our family of 10, and he was helpful in directing us to boat rentals. There was a plumbing problem our first morning, but Clay was able to get a plumber out to the house fairly quickly. Oddly enough, we realized we've stayed at this residence several years ago. It is much nicer since Clay took over and renovated the home. We would stay here again.

Beautiful property, a lot of outdoor spaces overlooking lake. Host was always available, very responsive. I will definitely like to rent again.

This was a very nice place, very clean and had anything you could want or need. The host was very nice and I would definitly come back to this place and stay again. It was very quiet at night and felt very safe. The decor was excellent, very cute.

The lakehouse was the perfect backdrop to our much-needes family weekend. This home has everything you need, in the perfect setting with close access to lots of area attractions. We loved every second and didn't want to leave. Thanks Santiagos for everything!

we enjoyed our stay a lot! it was very close to the whatz-up fun park and a short drive from trade days in Canton. Lisa was very responsive and very helpful! we will definitely be back.

Great place, good area, and good neighbors. The only question I had unanswered from reading the previous reviews was the fishing area and quality. I didn’t see much info and had to make an educated guess… although I’m sure I could have just as easily asked the owners. The fishing was great. Good dock and my son and I fished at day and night ( bring an underwater light) and we caught a lot. Crappie, sand and striped bass, and catfish. The Dock restaurant near by is really good. We enjoyed it and will look for this place first for the next trip.

It was great perfect for our family of 5 plus grandma. She was responsive and accommodating. She allowed for an earlier check-in and great host. If we go to that area again definitely going to book at the island park cottage again!
