We had a fantastic stay here - it is a wonderful place that truly does look and "feel" just like the AirBnB profile. The AC unit wasn't functional unexpectedly but we had nice weather and it wasn't a big deal. Even with that hiccup we happily give this place a 5/5 stars. We plan on coming back, and imagine it will be one of our favorite places upstate to visit

Beautiful home! Extremely clean upon arrival and excellent communication. Everything in the house was clearly labeled and directions for check-in and check-out were very clear. Sadly it rained our entire stay so we could not enjoy the pool or the beautiful backyard, but we still had a lovely stay. We hope to come back soon!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable home in the Berkshires! The house was very comfortable and cozy, and the backyard with the deck and pool provided a wonderful space to hang out day and night. The house was situated 20-30 minutes from so many places - downtown Lenox, Miraval Spa and Ballderdash Winery. We can’t wait to come back!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The location is close to plenty to do and great dining but also feels very private. The home is absolutely beautiful as pictured. The pool was a real treat to have and half of the pool is a shallow end which was a bonus for us traveling with a child. The beds are very comfortable which is always a huge plus when traveling. The hosts were responsive with any questions that came up. We would happily stay again!

We had a great stay in Pittsfield. Taylor has gone above and beyond with little extras in the space- snacks, games, and amenities. Everything was as described. We appreciated your guidebook and the recommendations. Thank you for a relaxing stay!

We were in town for a wedding with 7 people in our group (6 adults and 1 child). The home was spacious and everyone had a place to sleep. It was very clean and had lots of amenities as described. I wish we could have stayed longer as we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the beautiful back yard but we felt right at home for the 2 days we were there. Elise was super responsive and helpful from the time we booked all the way until checkout. I would definitely recommend staying at Elise’s lovely home.

We were happy with this AirBNB and would stay here again. It was nice and quiet but a very short drive into Great Barrington. Close to lots of hiking. Updates have been made since some of the previous reviews. There are two couches in the living room and some of the stock items in the kitchen for convenience.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and hope to return again. The house is peaceful and expertly restored. Plenty of screened in doors and windows to let in the breeze. Comfy sofas and beds. Very close to Old Chatham with a cute country store and restaurant or two. Leslie is a helpful and communicative host. The perfect spot for a Hudson Valley getaway.

The Hygge House was a lovely spot to spend my birthday weekend with my family and friends. We took advantage of so many close-by activities. But the highlights were at the house itself - paddling the canoe and kayak through the water, outdoor dinner, and s’mores at the fire pit. Jessica was also so easy to communicate with and super accommodating during a personal emergency we experienced. We loved our stay and would love to come back again soon.

Jaryn is a terrific host -- responsive and helpful in every way. The property is ideally located to access the northern and southern towns in the Berkshires. There are trails at the top of the cul de sac as well as Shaker Mountain just up the road. New Lebanon has some hidden gems for eating such at M & M's, Blueberry Hill Market and Marios. Easy to get to shopping in Pittsfield and Lenox. Great place to relax and hang out as well as taking advantage of music, art and cultural activities in Lenox, Stockbridge and Becket. Most of all, there are the most amazing sunsets every night!

We loved staying in this Airbnb for a peaceful weekend getaway! Lucas was very responsive and check in was a breeze. The house was as described, in a beautiful, private location. Everything was spotless and we appreciated the attention to detail in terms of amenities.

This is a comfortable home that is clearly loved and cared for by the owners, with all of the amenities you would want. It's a relief to come to an Air bnb that is more than a place to stay, but truly a home away from home.

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting a short drive to Berkshires attractions. The house was cozy and inviting, with so many beautiful touches that made it feel like a real home instead of an Airbnb that was solely designed for income. Despite the size and many nooks and crannies it was impeccably clean. We were there during some chilly rainy days and it was a lovely place to curl up and read or chat, with plenty of room to spread out. One thing to be aware of, the full bath with shower is on the main level, so using it requires toting shower things up and down the stairs each time. Something to be aware of if there's a group member with less mobility. Very doable with assistance, and the shower is a walk-in which was great. I didn't think anyone in my party would mind the train. Little did I know it would turn out to be the highlight of the trip and best part of the stay. Everyone loved it!

This cabin was an absolute dream come true and exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by its charm and the serene beauty of its surroundings. The cabin itself was impeccably clean, cozy, and wonderfully decorated, making us feel instantly at home. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen. We particularly loved the personal touches in the decor, i.e. the writing on the walls and all of the books. The location was simply perfect – as a city gal, being surrounded by nature in a peaceful setting was exactly what I was looking for. I enjoyed spending time in the yard in the morning with my breakfast and enjoyed driving to the Norman Rockwell Museum. Taryn was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions I had and made the entire booking and check-in process seamless. We left feeling completely relaxed, rejuvenated and already have our next stay booked! This place is a true gem!

This was such a lovely country escape for us tired city kids. The pond was a beautiful backdrop for reading and drawing. We brought our binoculars and walked across to Dan B road, spotting gorgeous birds multiple times a day. Our host, Danielle, was extremely responsive and friendly. A fuse blew our second night there, and Danielle had an electrician out to fix it the next day so we could sleep with AC that night. One warning: if you're tall, there are some very low ceilings and doorways. My partner is 6'2 and hit his head repeatedly on the bathrooms' vaulted ceilings and the kitchen doorway. The house would be great for a big group, or a family with kids -- the playroom is delightful and the big, fun kitchen makes you want to fill with your friends and eat and talk for hours. We're very grateful for our quiet getaway there!

My family had an amazing time at Marie’s place. Accommodations were exactly as described. The number one thing I look for in a place is cleanliness and Marie’s place was impeccable. Marie’s place is on a nice neighborhood street in a friendly neighborhood. We felt right at home. Marie goes above and beyond on the details, extra toiletries, snacks, coffee, board games and books for adults and children in every room. She also checked on us after our first night just to make sure everything was going okay and to make sure we didn’t need anything. Marie is an amazing host! Best airbnb we have stayed at. We would definitely recommend.

Fabulous location. Lovely, comfortable home. The two relaxation spaces - one off the kitchen and the other being a den - allowed me to read in peace while my husband watched tv. Room airconditioners in both bedrooms and one of the sitting rooms keep all the spaces except the bathrooms cool, and the bathrooms were fine. Susan responded to our one inquiry with lightning speed. One caution: if you are a very light sensitive sleeper, the bedrooms get light as soon as the sun comes up. The downstairs one has a shade for the window and curtains which help, but upstairs one has a bare skylight. We were there over the summer solstice, so the sun was up at 5:30am.

We had a great time at Francois & Ann's oasis by the lake. It was so relaxing to wake up, look at the lake, and listen to birds chirp. If you are looking for isolation, this place does the trick, We didn't see anyone all week on the lake or at the other cabins until the day we left. The lake has excellent fishing. With little effort, we caught several decent-sized bass and pickerel right off the dock. The location is ideal. You feel like you are out in the country, but are close to great restaurants in Kinderhook and only 25 minutes from Hudson or Albany. It's also only an hour from Mass Moca and 90 minutes to Cooperstown. Francois and Ann were very communicative and quickly responded to questions and comments.

We had an amazing stay at Bradley’s home. It is a perfect size with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. It is close to so many great restaurants and cute downtown areas for shopping. The beds were super comfortable and the air conditioning worked like a champ. The shower was huge with top notch water pressure. Star of the stay was definitely the hot tub, really strong jets and great temperature control. I did not want to leave at the end of our trip! Thank you Bradley for being a great host and welcoming us into your beautiful home!
