Rustic cabin by lake and forest

Enjoy the quietness of this simple log cabin, 100 meters from a nice lake. Fishing license is required for fishing and an eka is available to borrow. The cabin warms up with a fireplace and air heat pump. Running cold water and electricity are available all year. The cottage of 40 sqm is made up of a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with double bed, living room with sofa bed, dining table and fireplace. TV and DVD are available. Bathroom and toilet are not provided. There is outdoor toilet and easy outdoor shower. Bring your own wood. Feel the peace and quiet!

Log cabin with lake view

The log cabin is located in the countryside of the village of Löa. The cabin has no electricity or running water so here you cook in the wood stove, get water in the pump and get to use the toilet, just like it was before. If it's too cold to swim in the lake, there is a shower to borrow in another building. Gasoline powered fridge to store food in. On the farm, you can help feed calves, sheep and chickens and pick eggs for breakfast. Moose and beaver safaris with the cabin owner as guide can be booked. Boat, kayak and raft to rent.

Enjoy the 200° water views and spend the days swimming or fishing from the private jetty with 2 kayaks available for use. Pick berries or mushrooms in the nearby forest or walk on beautiful trails. Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

The lower floor has been carefully renovated using traditional building preservation methods. There is a kitchenette with cold water, a fridge and a hob. The outdoor toilet is just a few steps away. The shower is in the main building. The forest is just around the corner with good opportunities for shorter or longer walks. Free parking.
