This is not a typical airbnb. Stephanie goes above and beyond and in the end is more of a friend than a "host." For me, this is a home away from home. You must love dogs if you are to enjoy staying here.

Steve's was just like being at home. Steve himself was very responsive, friendly, proactive and even gave us hints on places to go to. I would definitely recommend such a host.

My wife and myself enjoyed our two night stay. the jacuzzi was amazing. it was very cozy inside the Flatlet. with electric blankets on the beds and a heater for the cold winter nights. the photos on Airbnb does not do this listing any justice. it is really a place to consider. thank you for our wonderful weekend.

Stewart met us upon our arrival and went out of his way to make us feel right at home. We were left to enjoy the privacy and peacefulness of the beautiful quaint cottage and the animals that lived on the premises. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our 2 day stay in Johannesburg, with the location also perfect as everything we needed was within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely return!

Review for Mooiplaats: What a lovely, little farm getaway. Bea and her husband, Wim, are amazing hosts and great people. The BnB is fitted with all you need to enjoy a peaceful and lovely time. Surrounded by the sounds of the farm at night, the little farm house is private and perfect. They also have their own butchery with the best bacon ever! I would highly recommend this gem to anyone with an appreciation of farmstyle living. The surrounding area also has an amazing "Melkery". So between lovely cheeses and great meat, you are sorted. And for R75pp, lovely Bea might organise a tasty farmhouse breakfast... 5/5.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Riaan and Malia were so hospitable and always responsive when we reached out to them. They even greeted us when we first arrived and gave us fresh baked bread. The outdoor area is very nice and fun for children to play. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of supplies to cook/bake. The house is very safe and secure and just as shown in the pictures. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I stayed at Stoney Brooke for 3 months, all my needs where met, they are very accomodating, I loved staying there, the peace and quiet is very good for the soul. I will stay there again next year.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Dr. Amit’s place in Sandton, Johannesburg. The home was clean, secure, and ideally suited for our group—spacious, comfortable, and located in a peaceful area. Dr. Amit is an exceptional host and a great communicator. From the moment we booked until the end of our stay, he made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were well taken care of. A special mention goes to his incredible team—Xolani and Godfrey—who were warm, respectful, and so helpful throughout our visit. Their presence made us feel right at home. Xolani, in particular, was always attentive and made sure the place stayed spotless,because I came with kids she even helped me with cooking for them when I was not feeling wel while Godfrey’s kindness and calm energy added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Joburg—it’s more than just accommodation, it’s a home away from home. Thank you, Dr. Amit, for your generosity and outstanding hospitality!

This is the second time we've stayed at Alleyn - both times because of a family emergency. Both Louw and Lucy - the lady who works at Alleyn - went above and beyond to help us in a time crisis. We will always be grateful for the help they extended to us.

An oasis in the city. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and with lovely characterful touches. We especially loved the beautiful gardens with magical paths, birds, eco pool and abundant greenery. Another highlight for us was the community dog park at the bottom of the property with lots of friendly dogs and more wildlife. Wendy, Maria and Jake were all super kind, helpful and friendly!
