Cottage holiday rentals in Ripley

This was a phenomenal stay! The house was clean and well stocked (e.g. toilet paper, soap, dishes, etc.). The rooms were as posted in the photos, so there were no surprises! Vu was a very responsive and helpful host. When we had trouble with the hot tub, he came down right away and checked the water for us. As a suggestion for those visiting, if you are sensitive to pool chemicals, you should run the hot tub for one cycle before getting in. There were some spatulas that were unclean in the drawer, but this was not of big concern to us as it might have just been missed while cleaning. Location wise, it’s walkable to Crystal Beach and it has some cute shops along the way! Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

The place was incredibly accommodating for the group of 8 of us !! We had a great time hanging out in the backyard and between the kitchen and dining table with the open concept. The place was tidy, clean, and all the amenities were as advertised — would definitely stay again!

Kelly's cottage was perfect for me and my boys to get away! The stream behind the house was lovely and just a short paddle to Chautauqua Lake. My kids loved the hot tub! The cottage was fully stocked with dishes to cook with and coffee and snacks (my boys loved the mini popcorn!), as well as, plenty of fresh linens and towels. We had such a great time and are looking forward to making this a yearly tradition already!

The home is so beautiful, I took pictures because I really want to build a home and it’s what I’m going to base it off of!!! Kathlene was so helpful. Anything we needed she was right on it.!! we will plan on coming again in the future! You will not be disappointed in this location or the home itself!!

My husband and I enjoyed a getaway here with our pup. The nice-sized, fully fenced-in yard was a highlight for us. The home was very clean, cozy, and in a good location, close to parks, stores, and restaurants (we highly recommend Shore House Bar & Grill which is a 3-min walk from the house).

We enjoyed our stay and found the process very easy from check in to checkout. Alissa and Jeff answered all questions quickly. Loved our time in the area and found this to be a perfect place for this area.

The location and accommodation were perfect! We loved the cottage's decor, comfort and especially the view!

The Cove was a wonderful cottage within walking distance of the lake. The house had lots of nice antiques to make you feel right at home. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is a short walk from the lake. I’d stay here again if in the area.

WOW! That’s what we said when we opened the front door. The view of the lake was awesome and Barbara’s house was perfect for the 4 of us celebrating our 70th birthdays. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s before but this house had every amenity you could ask for. It is tastefully decorated and well stocked including paper products, shampoos, spices, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the morning sunrise from the master bedroom was absolutely breathtaking! We visited the National Comedy Museum in Jamestown and walked the beautiful grounds of the Chautauqua Institute ! Barbara was the perfect hostess and even offered to mail the clothes we left in the dryer back to us. As one ages, we tend to remember the “moments” and forget the “things”🥴. Thank you, Barbara, for transforming your shack into a spectacular cottage and sharing it with us.

Rikki is the best host compared to all the other hosts we’ve had! She has absolutely everything u could possibly need! I was very happy to see a blow dryer which I forgot at home!!!! Our dog had a blast playing ball in a large area! Can’t wait to come back! Ty Rikki for everything!

Loved our stay here. Very close to lakeside and walking distance to the bagel shop, etc. Place was absolutely spotless & smelled so clean upon arrival. Tons of space, kitchen is fully stocked, and lots of room for your family! We loved staying here. Penelope is very responsive & kind!

Great value, great location and Sarah is a joy to deal with. She was highly accommodating to our infant. Don’t hesitate to stay here! 15min walk in every direction to all the best of Crystal Beach.

This was a fabulous choice for a weekend wine getaway with girlfriends! The description of the place was spot on! I have been coming to the area for 15 years and always wanted to stay at this place because it looks so unique from the outside. It did not disappoint, and the hostess was spectacular in term of communication. We will be back!

The place was just what we were hoping for. It was walkable to the attractions we were there for and the house was clean and well equipped, we wanted for nothing. The hosts were friendly and good with the directions and all communications. We communicated with the co-host Nicole frequently and she was amazing, friendly and very responsive. We would definitely recommend this place or any place these lovely folks are a part of.

The cottage was beautiful and perfect for our needs. The view of the lake was wonderful and it was so peaceful. Everything was clean and neat and we felt right at home. I highly recommend Judy's place for a lake experience or just a little get away.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront home! The views of Lake Erie were absolutely stunning—sunsets from the porch were a highlight of our trip. The house was spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. There was plenty of space for our group of six adults and one child, and we especially appreciated the cozy common areas where we could all gather. Janelle was a responsive and gracious host, making check-in and communication seamless. We would absolutely love to return—this home is a true gem in Erie!

We really enjoyed our 3-day stay at Bryce’s charming cabin. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, well designed and full of character. Although a small space, it felt open and comfortable. Bryce was a very responsive and accommodating host, answering all our questions quickly and kindly. The beds were comfortable, the water hot and the cabin was adequately equipped for cooking. We loved the view of the creek from the dining area and sitting by the water and making a fire in the evening. It was perfect for my elderly mom too—no stairs, easy shower access, and peaceful surroundings with birdsong during the day and quiet at night. One note for those with similar needs: the dining table is counter height, my mom either stood at the table or used the sofa chair to eat. This wasn't a problem for us at all, but might be helpful information for others. She loved the space and didn’t want to leave. We couldn't have had a better experience and we’d gladly return!

We had an amazing stay for the weekend. This was the most accommodating Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Everything we needed was available. Rebecca personalized our stay for a soccer weekend and it was so thoughtful. It was a short walk to the lake and the private lake front was so peaceful. The cottage had a lot of space and was very clean. The amenities available at the cottage were great. We wish our stay could have been longer. If we are ever back in the area we would 100% choose to stay at the Little Shovel again. Thank you for a great weekend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Amy’s home. We felt so blessed to have found this amazing gem! It was pristine and beautifully decorated - we loved everything about the home and our stay. Amy was a fabulous host and communicated so well with us. I hope I get an opportunity to stay in this lovely home again. I would definitely rent it for more than just a few days.

This place was even more beautiful than the pictures. Three levels of seating to enjoy the lake views. The beds were so comfortable unlike many places. The restaurant Garden Houzz just down the street is a close walk and a hidden gem! We had a rainy cold stay but we enjoyed an amazing time because of the views and amenities.

Amazing place! Very clean and it was nice to have the A/C. Beautiful view and my kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing. It was a short drive to port Dover beach we went swimming and got ice cream on the boardwalk. This was the best cottage experience.

This place was perfect, very beautiful and peaceful for our quick getaway. House was clean and had everything we needed. We had a great time. Definitely would stay again!
