Incredible place with amazing nature surroundings. Just like the pictures there's lots to see and explore and Zuray is a great host!

This place is absolutely incredible. My wife and I went for a long weekend for our 2nd anniversary and this bnb was the perfect location for just that. It’s secluded, peaceful, and the open air kitchen brings a fun jungle vibe to your stay. My favorite part of the house was the terrace and that beautiful view that comes with. AC in the bedrooms kept us nice and cool at night. And from reading other reviews I was a little worried about the drive up, but it’s not that bad get a 4X4 vehicle and send it! Big shout out to Loren for meeting us later than expected when we first arrived, that guy is a legend! The only recommendation I have is to stay as long as you possibly can!!!!

A 5 minutos del centro , acceso autónomo y simple . La casa es espaciosa y cómoda . Con cochera privada para tu auto. Nos gustó !

This place was perfect for us, two adults and two kids (12 and 9 yrs old). We had originally planned on staying at another place higher on the hill until we realized the road to get there was insanely steep and challenging to navigate, especially during the rainy season. Eric’s place was easy to get to, with a friendly security guard monitoring traffic into the neighborhood. The view was AMAZING, the beds were comfy and the pool was clean and refreshing. Great location for exploring other beaches and the towns of Dominical and Uvita and an easy 1.25 hr drive south to Sierpe for a mangrove boat tour (which was awesome) or to access Corcovado NP. Eric and Fabiola were wonderful and very helpful hosts. First-timer advice: if you’re renting a car, go with a smaller 4x4, we got a Hyundai Kona. Barely fits our luggage, but easy to navigate on narrow Costa Rican roads and small parking spaces.

Stuart’s place was an ideal location for a private and peaceful getaway. The property itself had great amenities - especially the pool and the surrounding landscape. It was centrally located to bars, restaurants and beaches in Uvita and two neighboring towns - but far enough away to feel like we were in the middle of the jungle. Stuart was a great host. His place definitely made our vacation!

Nos vamos muy contentos, Carlos siempre estuvo al pendiente de nosotros, la casa es muy cómoda y bonita. Sin duda Carlos es un excelente anfitrión, nos llevó a la cascada y nos dio recomendaciones para ir a comer y actividades para realizar. No dudaría ni un segundo para regresar. Al estar ahí no puedes olvidar probar las hamburguesas de Sneaky monkey las cuales son exquisitas.

Nos sentimos cómodos tan solo llegar al portón de entrada. Una casa de calidad en todo sentido, equipada a la perfección. Tiene muchísima vegetación alrededor lo cual permite estar cómodos sin perder la escencia del lugar donde estás! Tenía todo lo que describía y más! Disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estadía. Recomiendo esta casa para familias sobre todo porque es cómoda y fácil de vivir! Que tenga lava ropas y seca ropas, sobre todo en la época de lluvias es imprescindible. También había tablas de surf! Jeremy respondió siempre rápido y se preocupó por nosotros al igual que yosuer. Sin dudas si vuelvo a uvita volveré a hospedarme aquí. 10/10

Cabana Chirincoco was so perfect we didn’t want to leave. Juan and his family are amazing hosts-friendly, proactive and inviting. We loved the cabin especially how open it was to nature: the outdoor kitchen, bulls across a gentle stream and so many hawks, toucans and chirincoco birds. You can walk to General Viejo our take a short drive to Rivas, San Isidro and other local cities. Plenty of food options whether you eat in or dine out. We will definitely return next time we find ourselves in the area.

This was a really nice property. Pool was amazing. Clean and gorgeous setting. Private oasis ! I loved this place. I am very active and walked or hiked 15-20k each day during my 2 week stay and didn’t have a car so I didn’t mind that it was a little bit off the beaten path and not near the city center. Weights, exercise bike, pool table were all nice to have. Air conditioning worked well. Did I mention the pool ? Laundry on site worked well, all amenities were as advertised, full kitchen, the outdoor barbecue area was really nice although I did not use it. Be sure to check out this small local “pub” near the Wal Mart and tell Eva that the Pepsi guy from Canada recommended it ! Bar y Restaurante Chicken Tempura

Wow!10/10…. Beatas place has been the best place we have stayed in. Not only is the design beautiful but also extremely clean and spacious. Beata is also very detailed and reached out prior to arriving to ask if a crib is needed since I was traveling with my 1 year old, very thoughtful of her, as offer the crib and fresh blankets for baby were there as soon as we arrived. I can’t say much about the area as we were in town for a wedding and all activities were planned ahead of time, but we did appreciate the closeness of many restaurants and stores, we also got to go to the farmers market on Saturday morning which was great to see. Will definitely like to come back and do a humpback whale tour when their in season and baby is older to witness.

This was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. The property is incredible. Josh and Cheyenne were super helpful and responsive. Josh showed my kids the chicken coup and greeted us with fresh eggs. He also helped us change our flat which was much appreciated. The property is very clean, tastefully designed with an incredible view. Would highly recommend a four wheel drive and finding it is a bit tricky but Cheyenne guided us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Ce logement en plein coeur de la jungle est un vrai petit bijoux!! Nous y avons passé 5 nuits et avons adoré notre expérience. L'emplacement est idéal, pas trop loin de Manuel antonio, Dominical et tout près de belles chutes d'eau. Le coin piscine est vraiment bien aménagé et est un gros plus. Nous avons également pu observer 2 toucans de notre balcon en prenant notre petit déjeuner. Melissa et Saïd sont très disponible et on se sent au petit soins chez eux.

Nos alojamos en esta propiedad durante varios días y no podemos estar más agradecidos con la atención recibida. Desde el primer momento, la anfitriona estuvo siempre disponible, atenta y dispuesta a ayudarnos con cualquier consulta o necesidad que tuviéramos. Respondía rápidamente y con total claridad, lo que nos dio mucha tranquilidad durante toda la estadía. La casa es tal como se muestra en las fotos: cómoda, limpia, bien equipada y rodeada de naturaleza. Ideal para descansar y disfrutar del entorno. Recomendamos este alojamiento sin dudarlo, especialmente por la hospitalidad de la anfitriona, que hizo que nos sintiéramos completamente bienvenidos. ¡Volveríamos sin pensarlo dos veces!

I spent two most relaxing days in the loft. Perfect place for those who like being in the middle of nature. The cabin is an open structure with nets instead of windows. It is very well equipped, including a complete kitchen and an outdoor shower. For those who are addicted to A/C, there is none due to the open character of the loft, but 3 fans are more than enough to cool you down. Pablo, who takes care of the property, was most welcoming and nice, leading the way to the cabin and giving some good advice for things to do in the area. I would recommend going there at least in an SUV as the last 5 minutes of driving involve some steep and bumpy bits. My personal highlight was seeing a group of spider monkeys passing by directly in front of the terrace while having my morning coffee! I can only highly recommend this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful area, and staying in Osvaldo's cabin made it even more special. The views and privacy were appreciated. Everything we needed was provided, including space heaters and many blankets. It is quite chilly at that elevation! My husband is tall and had to be careful of his head upstairs. This area has many marvelous birds, including a family of Acorn Woodpeckers who live under the roof; now and then we heard them shuffling around above us at night. We had nice meals at Gema del Bosque and La Tapir. Miriam's Quetzals has good breakfast and coffee, and truly outstanding birdwatching on the back deck!

Nos encantó el lugar. Está muy bien equipado y es muy bonito. También está en el puro centro de Santa María. Los anfitriones dieron instrucciones claras y respondieron rápido. Quedamos con ganas de volver más días. El bus/hospedaje está dentro de una propiedad en donde hay otra cosa, lo cuál lo hace seguro y también hay privacidad. Gracias!

Luis was a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive, and had no problem answering our questions despite the language barrier. All the necessities were available, as well as extras we didn't expect. His family even gave us a small parting gift for each of my young children on our last day. The house is in a beautiful location; somewhat difficult to find at first through the winding mountain roads, but once we knew where it was it was nice to have such a private spot. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Having a morning coffee on the patio looking out over the valley was my favourite part of our trip!

El lugar es perfecto para descansar el fin de semana lejos de la ciudad, muy acogedor y silencioso. Con hermosas vistas y un paisaje que va cambiando según la posición de las nubes.
