Great place and perfect location !

This stay was special in exactly the way we thought it would be. You’re sleeping right in the middle of the jungle, but protected with a net on the bed. You can hear all sorts of animals throughout the night and day which enhances your experience. The restaurant on the grounds is magnificent and has amazing food. Our host Megan was so supportive and proactive with our constant change in travel plans. She also helped setting up a guide to hike the volcano as well as took care of our ferry tickets to come in (we did ourselves for the way back due to last minute changes and it was a huge pain) Overall, if you’re looking to be immersed in nature on an island with several good restaurants and plenty of things to do. This stay is perfectly located for that and offers great value for the price.

A wonderful location with a fantastic view of the volcano. Nolver, who is one of the managers on site, was extremely helpful and efficient. We found a great restaurant within easy walking distance - but take a torch!! A very special place.

Everything was great. My children really enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay, felt like home. Breakfast was great. The pool is awesome. Love the friendly dogs in the property. There were a few inconvenients that were well covered by the manager.

Joyce is extremely responsive as she lives onsite. She was helpful with local recommendations. Close to Playa Santana and Beginners Bay—can walk to both. Power went out daily for minutes or several hours, but Joyce has a back up generator for running the essentials. We found the pool right on the beach a lovely way to enjoy non surfing hours. Would stay again.

Room to Roam provides an idyllic location in Playa Gigante. Clean rooms with AC, excellent food, a beautiful pool, and friendly staff make this a great place to stay. The staff can help you arrange activities like fishing, surfing, horseback riding, and dirt bike rides. I look forward to my next visit.

Beautiful hostel. Room large and felt like in a hotel. Pool and atmosphere a WoW. Staff friendly. Rather a little outside but with a shuttle this is fine.

We have visited SJDS multiple times and the Wanderlust was by far our favorite location. Check in was easy and our room was fantastic. Loved the decor, very clean and comfortable and the beds were really amazing. I loved the whole vibe of this place- very tranquil and quiet and close to town. I really liked the self service access to snacks and drinks. Staff was very friendly. The pool is right outside our room. Internet was strong. Will definitely be back.

Check-in was a breeze, and the host was always available to answer my questions. They provided a super handy Google Maps link with all the best things to do and places to eat in the area. My room was super cute and clean, just like the photos. I loved the locally made hand tiles on the wall. The room had AC, which is a must for me, and a fan. Since the place is run off solar, even during the rolling power outages that you get in Central America, I could still shower, use the fan, and had WiFi. The community here is very cool, offering a variety of community events and weekly activities. There's a nice pool for a refreshing swim. Having Kooks Cafe and the co-working space on-site was so convenient – totally a game changer. They offer scooter rentals to get around, but I didn't stay long enough to need one. Everything I needed was within walking distance or on the property. If you're looking for an awesome community and a place to meet cool people while working remotely, look no further

I HIGHLY recommend Eden! A perfect place to relax, meditate, eat and work! My hubby and I had a nice weekend getaway.

We had a great stay at the eco-lodge! The room was nice and the gardens are beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice! Santa Cruz is a lovely small town with everything needed. Would really recommend staying here. Staff super helpful with renting scooters and other information. Thank you!

The island of Ometepe is absolutely magical and the nature with the two volcanoes is fantastically beautiful. The location of El Natural is unique and allows you to dream with magnificent views of the lake and the Maderas volcano. The view over the morning sunrise is gigantic and swimming in the lake is also a highlight. Across the property are hearty Capuchin monkeys. Calia and Aaron are good-hearted people and wonderful hosts. I immediately felt very comfortable and also appreciated the exchange and time with both. The lovingly furnished accommodation has everything you need and invites you to linger and enjoy. Calia is a top chef. The food is a poem, just fantastic. Their smoothies are super delicious. Conclusion: I will definitely come back to Ometepe and look forward to booking with Calia again. Thanks again for everything Calia and Aaron. See you soon, hopefully. It is a very nice and spacious accommodation, which offers many small corners to relax. It was really clean and it had good amenities. We would recommend this place.

We loved the place, just as the photo describes. Very comfortable and accessible to the beach. The restaurant is very nice and the food is well seasoned. We recommend it if you want to spend some time away from everything and in a good atmosphere close to the beach.

Everything was excellent, I will visit them again in a couple of months.

I can't recommend BVSC enough. I stayed there for 9 days and could have extended a month (slash forever). Ian is such a fantastic, welcoming, helpful host. Even though he wasn't there the first week, his communication was incredible -- he coordinated taxis, gave recommendations, and made us feel so at home. Chris and Elba, the two volunteer hosts on the property were also lovely, helpful, and kind. And, lastly, Johnny, the BVSC co-owner, is a great guy and also really dedicated to making sure our stay was wonderful. I also really appreciated all the other staff - from the groundskeeper to the kitchen magicians - they were always friendly. It's clear that thought and intention went into cultivating an awesome community of people to run BVSC and because of that (and the stunning setting!) it's impossible to not absolutely love your stay.
