Monthly Rentals in River Hodder

We had a lovely stay at the Weavers' cottage, didn't find it tired at all. Yes, it is small, but that was clear from the outset. All facilities were sufficient for a very relaxed few days. We found it helpful that we knew from the description that there was a cafetiere and some basic cooking ingredients. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and the brook running at the bottom of it. Andrew was actually away but was very responsive to any messages. Altogether, we can only recommend the place.

The accommodation was perfect, everything I might need, really well presented, comfortable, warm and homely. The location is beautiful, so peaceful. Lots of nice walks and amazing views. A lovely apartment within easy walking distance of Clitheroe town centre and Holmes Mill, where we had a family wedding. The apartment was nicely furnished and very clean and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. From the front door, which is up a flight of steps, there is an uninterrupted view of the castle. Sarah responded to my messages quickly and was friendly and helpful. A pleasure to do business with. I will definitely use again if we're in the area. Highly recommended.

Marl Hill House is a lovely property in a beautiful area. It was perfect for our family party of 8 and our 2 dogs. The enclosed gardens were great for them and the house was warm, very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed cooking with the aga - makes a great breakfast! The area is beautiful, lovely pubs and great walking/mountain biking. Hearing the curlews in the morning was special as was the little wagtail who kept appearing. Sarah was a great host with excellent recommendations; responding quickly to messages and instructions were spot on. We hope to stay again and discover more of this beautiful area.
