You are going to stay in our small but cozy guest house in the middle of the country site in the village of Birdhill. Its a self contained guest house with a kitchen/living room, small double bedroom and bathroom. We are conveniently located only 10 min away from M7 motorway (exit 27), and 20 min away from Limerick City. Shannon airport 40 min drive. Killaloe/ Ballina which is located only 10min drive from our house is one of the most picturesque village attractions with plenty of restaurants.

Great two night stay with Sadhbh. Lovely friendly welcome when we arrived, and she provided us with all the local info we needed to enhance our stay. Being on the outskirts of town meant for a quiet stay, and the nearby bus stop meant for easy access into the city Centre. The bedroom and bathroom we used were immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Future guests might just need to be aware that the room is upstairs when arriving with luggage.

Victoria and Ronan were very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, the private bathroom was also clean with towels available. The area is quiet and there was parking available. The accessibility to castletroy business park and UL is excellent, only 7 minutes drive away. This stay was ideal for my needs as I occasionally stay over in limerick and work in castletroy. Would recommend and I will be back 😊

It was an absolute pleasure to stay with Eric and Maureen. They are amazing hosts, and I felt at home from the get-go. They were extremely friendly, always happy to help, provide local guide tips and most importantly, making sure I felt comfortable at all times. Will definitely recommend a stay. This is a beautiful family house, very spacious, spotless clean with a lovely garden and plenty of space to have a quite/private time. My room was tidy and clean, perfectly fit my needs as a professional traveler. The house is well situated in a peaceful neighborhood, in a walking distance to local pubs & restaurants (15 mins) or the vibrant Limerick Central (40 mins). Could not recommend more highly the experience of staying with this family. Thanks a lot Eric and Maureen, see you soon!

Our stay at Punchbowl House was nothing short of a blessing! Nestled in the countryside, the remodeled house has rustic charm with modern amenities. The room was comfortable and the views were breathtaking! Jane’s sister and her husband took over the hosting duties while Jane was away and they were absolutely lovely people. Could NOT have asked for better hosts nor a better location!

One of the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. We regretted staying only one night. The room is well located, the bed is good, the bathroom very lovely. Everything is very clean. The private access and parking at the rear of the building are really appreciated. The best in this Airbnb is his host : Geraldine. She is a charming women, and it's nice to hear her talk about Ireland! Needless to say, I recommend it!
