Everything you dreamed of having as a child with all the comforts that you want as an adult. This is a unique restorative space. All the little extras offered are so kind and welcoming.....the bread was amazing. l slept really well and even got a squirrel looking in on me one morning.

Great location for exploring York and many other places in Yorkshire. Warm, cosy, TVs and Wi-Fi all worked fine. Bed comfy and close to the bathroom. The welcoming biscuits and milk was a nice touch. Quiet area and close to a pub that does quiz night on wednesdays. A really good stay.

Very welcoming people, they offer to give us a lift in and out of town, each was much appreciate. amazing full of character little cottage room, very clean and tidy place.

Judy provided clear and helpful instructions on how to find the place, and her local recommendations for pubs were great! The cottage itself was an absolute delight. It was spotlessly clean and Judy had made it feel so cozy and homey. The surrounding area is truly beautiful, perfect for nature walks and relaxing. Our greyhound came along with us and absolutely loved stretching her legs in the countryside and befriending Brutus, Judy's incredibly sweet and friendly terrier. It was so hard to leave and head back home. Thank you so much, Judy, for making our stay so wonderful and memorable!
