Light and peaceful double room & ensuite shower.

AmandaRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We usually rent whole apartments/houses/etc and not individual rooms, especially with our dogs, but this experience was incredibly delightful. The room was beautifully & ecectically decorated with items from Aileen's extensive travels and things she's sourced secondhand. Not Ikea! We loved the plants & natural light as well. The street is super quaint and peaceful, but you can still get to the shops and the beach easily on foot and we loved exploring Dover for the one afternoon we were there. Aileen herself was incredibly kind, interesting, and accommodating. We'd definitely recommend staying here!

Apartment near Dover Castle

HollyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Steven was very friendly and flexible with the time we arrived. He helpfully showed us around the flat before leaving and made sure we felt very welcome. He also kindly left us a bottle of cava in the fridge with milk and orange juice too. The flat was gorgeous. The photos don’t do it justice. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in! High ceilings, bath in the bedroom, two bathrooms and extra large king size beds. A long balcony to sunbath on/watch the sunset. It was very comfortable & well decorated too. The flat is well situated close to the town centre and has a pub that severs very good food only around the corner. It’s close to The Castle and the White Cliffs of Dover. We enjoyed our stay immensely. 10 out of 10!

Serenity at Shoreline

KonstantinosRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mark’s apartment at the Shoreline in Folkestone is outstanding. From the first message, his communication was clear, quick, and helpful, making the whole experience feel easy and well looked after. The apartment is beautifully designed and very well-equipped. Everything feels high-quality, from kitchen appliances and utensils to furniture, bedding, and lighting. Every detail feels carefully considered. The space is calm, clean, and luxurious without being overdone. I appreciated the thoughtful touches—Diptyque products, a well-stocked kitchen, and a layout that just works. Real care has gone into making the place feel right. The view is fantastic, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. You're close to great restaurants, coffee spots, and the sea, all within a short walk. The building is modern, quiet, and has everything you need nearby. This stay was exactly what we needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Pear Tree Cottage close to Dover town centre.

The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the cottage. Everything was tidy and well organized, and the surfaces were immaculate. The second thing I noticed was how generously Stephen had prepared for my arrival. In addition to things like coffee and tea, he provided a refrigerator with orange juice, eggs, bread, marmalade, and fresh milk (dairy, almond, and soy). There was also laundry detergent and fabric softener for the washer and dryer. There’s a full stove and a microwave. The gardens are beautiful. I did a Zoom call in the sunroom, and one of the participants commented on the lovely flowers behind me. (This is one time I didn’t blur my background!) I highly recommend strolling around the yard in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea. The neighborhood is cozy and quaint. It’s very walkable. A large grocery store is ten minutes away, as is the downtown area with plenty of pubs and restaurants. When.i return to Dover, I’ll certainly stay here again. It’s a great place.
