Tiny house holiday rentals in River Wye

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

Loved staying here for a second year in a row. The hideaway hut is tranquil and the perfect break from a busy life. Love nothing more than relaxing in the hot tub and listening to nature surrounding us. Thanks again for another perfect weekend away!

We had a wonderful stay at Ian and Christine’s self contained outhouse. The place was very easy to find and we were met upon arrival by both of them. They were warm and friendly from the get go. Their dog Danny was playful and adorable. The place had everything we needed and everything was spotlessly clean. It was incredibly quiet there, so we didn’t hear a peep. We went to Hay on Wye for the festivals which was only a 20mins drive and the Oxford street car park only cost £4 for the entire day. I’d highly recommend this place, especially if you’re visiting Hay or any of the surrounding areas.

A restful and relaxing two nights in the little Acton Bothy. Nina made us very welcome and then slipped away to give us privacy. The beautifully modernised Bothy had all mod cons without losing the ‘quaintness’ of the building. The weather was wonderful for early June, allowing us to sit outside and absorb the amazing views while having a cuppa or a glass of wine. We’ll be back for a longer more active break.

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

Thank you for a wonderful stay. So calm and peaceful and just what we needed to relax! We bought our dog who loved roaming around the enclosed garden. Beautiful well equipped cabin and hot tub.

My husband and I had the most amazing bank holiday weekend at Olly and Francis’s lovely cottage. Francis was very welcoming from the moment we arrived and was super friendly and generous throughout. The kitchen was well stocked up and they kindly provided fresh sourdough bread and eggs. Francis had also pre-prepared the fire place so that all we had to do was light it. The grounds are beautiful with nice spots where you can sit and enjoy the views. We also had fun playing tennis. They also provided excellent pub recommendations. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay and didn’t want to leave. Thanks again Francis for the great hospitality!

Wow! pretty much sums up the Otter Pod! We stayed here for a couple of nights for my husband's birthday, looking for a quiet spot to get some relaxation in, and this place had everything we needed and more. The pod is delightful. Everything you need is there with some really thoughtful touches too with the goodies left. Thank you! Everything was spotlessly clean too. Hot tub, BBQ, seating areas all perfect and really made the stay special. The view was incredible, and lovely to see horses playing in the fields in front. The pod was very private with it's own piece of field with parking space. Easy to find with perfect instructions. Lovely local pubs with recommendations from the host. Great cider tour in Weston Cider mill down the road, and visited Ledbury and Hereford, both great to wander around. The hosts were really welcoming, responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back to the Otter Pod, we loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Thank you Andrew and Victoria

The Cider Shack was wonderful! Everything is well laid out and comfortable. It was really peaceful and I especially enjoyed being able to take a bath outside looking out over the countryside. Considering it's an outdoorsy kind of place I expected some dirt and bugs, but it was completely spotless. The water pressure and temperature everywhere was great and it was one of the best showers I've experienced in an Airbnb. Laura was a fantastic host...very quick to respond to messages, and happy to pop by and say hello or completely leave you to it. She also left a few welcome gifts which were greatly appreciated.

Such an amazing stay! Super private and calm. Really enjoyed using the binoculars provided to overlook the hills and the sheep, even spotted some deer! The hot tub was lovely however the fire was hard to get going as there was no kindling but hot tub itself was lovely and spacious with beautiful LED light around the cabin. Not much to do around but that was exactly what we needed to get away from it all! Would definitely recommend thank you so much!

Perfect peaceful stay. If you’re looking for a place to stay to get ‘away from it all’, this is it!! So quiet, so private, and the hot tub with a view is just perfect. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful experience. Very peaceful. Especially loved a little window out on to the green right in front of our bed. In rainy windy weather the hot tub really took a lot of time to heat up. We went through a bucket of wood just to get it to temperature, but it was so worth it and stayed warm for many hours, so future visitors, don’t give up! Thank you for everything, had a wonderful time

Wow… what a stunning location. Felt very emotional when driving up to Holly cottage. The scenery is stunning. The cabin beautiful. Exactly as described. Apart from a friendly wave from the farmer and Suz checking in then I just spent hours in nature with my dogs. As a frontline worker this was exactly what I needed. Thank you Suz, I enjoyed our chats and your cabin was perfect. I can’t wait to come back. ❤️

We’ve had an amazing (short) stay at Liz’s place. Liz was so kind upon our arrival and she immediately made us feel very welcome whilst providing the perfect amount of privacy during our stay. The place has been a perfect retreat for us and the fire pit (and the fact that the weather was nice enough so that we were able to actually make use of it) completed our experience. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic place, spectacular scenery and very peaceful. Ideal for a really relaxing getaway, hiking on Exmoor/coastal path or sightseeing in some of the quaint villages such as Porlock and Porlock Weir. Jo was really helpful, proactive and very responsive - highly recommend staying here

We stayed here as a stop off before heading to Devon. Beautiful location and lovely scenery from the hot tub. Comfy bed and sofa, available Wi-Fi and smart TV. Very relaxing night away and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place! Photos don’t do it justice. All me and partner spoke about is how it would be a dream to live here. Amber was so helpful and left us more than we needed to have a great time!

We had a lovely couple of days staying at The Hut. It was exactly as described and we loved having a barbecue sitting on the terrace listening to the amazing birdsong (my app picked up 25 different birds) and watching the sun go down and the moon come up over the trees. The Hut is not overlooked at all. It was a really relaxing short break and thoroughly recommended. Thank you Kate and Tom.

The most beautiful stay in Ivan’s shepherds hut. Amazing location close to everything you’d want in the wye valley and you’re completely surrounded by nature when there. It’s got everything you could need and was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend. Could not recommend enough!

Amazing surroundings which our dog absolutely loved. Would definitely come again. Rich was very proactive especially in the activities area.

What a wonderful stay at Willow Lodge. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was an added luxury for my daughter and I while my husband and Son enjoyed fishing at the lake just at the front of the house. Really lovely and relaxing stay.
