WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Built in 1860, Devitt on French B&B is a step back to the old charms of yesteryear with the modern amenities that make for the perfect escape to the Barossa Valley. Complete privacy with a magnificent look out from the front verandah for your morning coffee. Accommodation with an environmental focus. Stay off grid, in a tiny historic hamlet. Situated between the Barossa Valley and the Adelaide Hills. This ongoing project utilises reused, recycled Nissan Huts (2 huts) to provide a cosy place to stay. 100% solar powered and filtered rain water. The rooms can be configured to suit a couple or twin share on request. All bookings receive a bottle of local Springton/Eden Valley wine and a cheese from the Barossa Cheese Company.
